In his second week of controlling RAW, Shane McMahon announced the begining of an eight team tournament to determine the #1 contenders for the New Day’s WWE Tag team Championship.
The Usos, the Vaudevillains, the Ascension, the Dudley Boyz, Enzo Amore and Collin Cassady, Goldust and Fandango, Lucha Dragons and Social Outcasts participated in the tournament. The semi final matches of the tournament will take place this week on RAW
The Vaudevillains will square off against the Usos, whereas Enzo and Cass will collide with the Dudley Boyz in the semi final matches. This means that the Vaudevillains will be making their official WWE RAW debut this week against the former tag team champions.
The team of Simon Gotch and Aiden English, the Vaudevillains are former NXT Tag team champions and held the titles for 61 days, ultimately losing it to the Revival, Dash and Dawson.
Also last week, the renowned team of Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows made an appearance on RAW by taking out the Usos, after their victory over the Social Outcasts. Wrestlinginc.com has teased that Karl and Doc will be present during this week’s RAW in London and are scheduled to make an appearance.
