WWE News: Paul Heyman hypes the Brock Lesnar vs Randy Orton rematch [Video]

What will happen when the two square off once more?

Brock Lesnar faced a returning Randy Orton at Summerslam. Many believed that The Viper would more than likely be walking out victorious since Smackdown Live would need a top babyface leading the brand, especially with John Cena going taking hiatuses time and again. However, as we found out, we are still a long way from finding out who is going to conquer The Beast Incarnate.Lesnar vs Orton was the main event of Summerslam. It was the first match announced for Summerslam, and it was the main event, perhaps because it was also the only inter-promotional match, and the Summerslam card was the first Pay-Per-View that was dual-branded post-draft. It was announced early this month that there would be a rematch between the two in a live event at the Allstate Arena, Chicago, on Saturday, 24th September. While the last match between the two ended up with the Viper in a pool of blood, it is unlikely that the same will happen at a house show. Lesnar won the Summerslam bout by TKO. There were several question marks about that match, as it blurred the lines between reality and fiction. Many believed that the vicious attack and bleeding was a shoot. However, it was, in fact, a work. Here is a video of Paul Heyman hyping the match:

Last time, Randy Orton needed a doctor. This time, he will need a priest.”

So far, the card looks as follows:

– Brock Lesnar vs. Randy Orton.

– Street Fight for the US Title: Rusev(c) vs. Roman Reigns.

– Tag Team Title Match: The New Day(c) vs. Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson

Kevin Owens, Chris Jericho, Cesaro, Sheamus, Sasha Banks, Charlotte, Enzo & Cass are all advertised for the event. While The Beast Incarnate usually wrestles on four Pay-Per-Views a year, he also does a few house shows. It is very unlikely that The Viper will get the victory over here. They may have a decent match, but The Beast Incarnate will still come out on top.

Since Brock Lesnar is a special attraction, that bout will probably be the main event even though Kevin Owens would be defending the WWE Universal Championship against someone. He faces Seth Rollins this coming Sunday at Clash Of Champions in the main event. This will be Kevin Owens’ first Pay-Per-View main event(aside from being in the Royal Rumble match)
