WWE News: WWE legend Vader involved in a major car accident

Vader took to Twitter to say he was alright!

Former WWE/WCW legend, Leon Allen White, popularly known as Vader, was involved in a fatal car accident on Tuesday, while travelling in Boulder, Colorado. The 61-year-old was left unconscious for 35 minutes after his car rolled over multiple times, leaving him trapped inside the vehicle.

The former Los Angeles Rams centre went on Twitter shortly after the incident, to describe the scary encounter.

Vader posted a photo on Twitter, displaying the injuries he suffered around his eyes after the accident.

His car took most of the damage with a dent on the hood as a result of the vehicle rolling over.

Vader, who was widely regarded for his large stature and athletic move set, boasts of a 20-year career of memorable moments. Seeing him perform his trademark moon sault was a spectacle, which attracted fans, during PPV’s and live events.

Still an occasional wrestler, Vader recently wrestled Will Ospreay in August, for RevPro Uprising in London, where he defeated him after criticising Ospreay for his high flying style earlier in the year.

Big Van Vader has previously been associated with promotions like Americal Wrestling Association, New Japan Pro Wrestling, WWE and WCW and was inducted into the WWE Hall of Fame class of 2016, earlier this year.

He is popularly remembered as a ‘tough SOB’, who once had to put his eye back into its socket after the injury occurred in a match against Stan Hansen. He went on to complete the match which lasted for a gruesome 22 minutes.
