WWE News: WWE open to Daniel Bryan's return?

The interesting promo really opens up the door for Daniel Bryan

Ever since The Miz verbally assaulted Daniel Bryan on Talking Smack, there has been a long and interesting debate going in the WWE Universe about the return of the former WWE World Champion, Daniel Bryan.

When Bryan announced his retirement earlier, we knew that he was forced to retire after WWE doctors didn’t give him the medical clearance to return to the in-ring action. However, just six months after his retirement, there is a huge speculation surrounding the fact whether that WWE wants Bryan back in action.

There was an article from Forbes regarding The Miz and Daniel Bryan’s angle from Talking Smack. It’s interesting to note that Forbes is reporting “a source with inside knowledge” saying “WWE has not completely shut the door on Daniel Bryan returning to the ring. The article continues to state that private physicians have cleared Daniel Bryan to wrestle, whereas WWE doctors have not.

Though Bryan is the GM of SmackDown Live currently, he has already revealed that being unable to wrestle lead to a mental breakdown. By keeping this in mind, it was rumoured that WWE officials deliberately sent the WWE Intercontinental Champion, The Miz, to the Talking Smack show to verbally attack Daniel Bryan . However, the exchanges between The Miz and Bryan went further than expected as Bryan ended up storming off the set and the show finished prematurely after something clearly hit a nerve.

There is no denying the fact that the fans really wanted to see Bryan back in action and it is expected that WWE is planning to continue the storyline, with additional wrestlers calling Bryan out for being a coward and “walking away from the ring.”

If we recall, in the latest edition of The Wrestling Observer, Dave Meltzer commented on Daniel Bryan's WWE contract and the fact that he may be able to make big money wrestling elsewhere when his deal is up. Meltzer also noted in his report that Bryan could potentially make a lot more money main eventing for NJPW than he would for his GM role with WWE.

But actually, it was very clear right now that WWE will not be allowing Daniel Bryan to leave the company, instead they will find a right storyline to bring him back in the ring. After the entertaining promo cut by the Miz, it seems that more wrestlers will continue to tease Bryan in the coming episodes of SmackDown.
