BOOM! Studios are set to bring WWE universe back to comics. The first edition will give us an insight of what led to the breakup of The Sheild and how ‘the Architect’ Seth Rollins devised his unholy plans to part ways with his brothers in arms Dean Ambrose and Roman Reigns.
Furthermore, it also provides us with a vivid description of the day that changed the course of WWE once and for all!
Let us revisit the day that changed the course of WWE forever, with this video!
The Sheild was a professional wrestling stable, formed by the union of three developmental superstars Rollin, Reigns and Ambrose. Ever since they broke out on the scene, they were a dominant force, destroying each and every superstar that stood in their way.
The Hounds of Justice won numerous titles and held notable victories against The Wyatt Family and The Evolution.
Available tomorrow, BOOM! Studios brings us the epic saga of The Sheild in “WWE: Then. Now. Forever.” The story, titled ‘The Breaking Of The Sheild’, is written by Dennis Hopeless and was released in a special one-page comic last month at Comic-Con International in San Deigo.
Here at BOOM! we’re thrilled to be a part of WWE’s return to the comic book medium,” BOOM! Studios Editor-in-Chief Matt Gagnon said when the partnership was initially announced. “The WWE Universe is a passionate fanbase, and we aim to provide them with the comic series they’ve always wanted — a series featuring their favorite Superstars and storylines, a series that highlights the incredible history of the brand. An authentic series that matters.”
The 20-page memoir, will not only depict the breaking of The Sheild, but also give us insight into the intentions and motivation behind Rollins betraying his brothers, and how Triple H and the Authority influenced him to do so. It will also provide us with a glimpse of the feud between The Sheild and The Wyatt Family.
