Goldberg is a name that is synonymous with pro-wrestling. This heavyweight monster went on a unstoppable run through Superstars during WCW’s days of glory. His undefeated streak of 173 matches during those days was a thing of wonder. WCW booked him like a monster and to this date is viewed as a monster by wrestling fans. Earlier this year, his name made rounds in the rumor mills teasing a potential appearance at WrestleMania.
This week on Raw, he made an appearance via a video montage teaser that aired during the show. All over the world, fans of wrestling went crazy as the man who left WWE on bitter terms returned once again to work with the company. The teaser was attributed to WWE’s new video game WWE 2K17.
Ever since his appearance on the teaser montage, several WWE veterans had conveyed their appreciation through Twitter. But this one Superstar went one step further and almost challenged Goldberg to a match. That Superstar is none other than our Swiss Superman, Cesaro.
Cesaro is easily the most powerful wrestler in the roster right now. His arsenal of moves is endless and his captivating charisma has captured the hearts of millions of fans. This might just be the reaction of fans if the match really happens.
Though this is just a invitation to a match from Cesaro, we would all love to watch this happen. Goldberg himself has stated that he would like to work one or two matches in a year with WWE. Now that he has patched his relationship with WWE, can we expect this dream match to happen?
