WWE News: Becky Lynch talks about a possible Four Horsewomen reunion

The Four Horsewomen of NXT, and now WWE

Becky Lynch is the face of the Smackdown Live’s women’s division. When she was the first woman to be drafted to Smackdown Live by Shane McMahon and Daniel Bryan, it became evident that she was going to be among the biggest beneficiaries of the brand split in the whole company. Now, with three of the four horsewomen on Raw, Becky is leading the charge of the Women’s division on the blue brand.

Becky was the sole member of the Four Horsewomen who had not won the NXT Women’s Championship. Even when she got called up, she was featured a lot, but was overshadowed by Charlotte. Subsequently, for a good portion of 2016, she was overshadowed by Sasha Banks and Charlotte who had feuded with each other. However, ever she got drafted to Smackdown Live, things have been looking up for her.

When Lynch was asked about a possible reunion of the Four Horsewomen in an interview with ESPN, she said:

"I could see it happening very easily, especially with the talent we're gonna have coming up from NXT soon, with Asuka, and Billie Kay and Peyton Royce, to name just a few. I don't know if we will be reunited as a group, as a unit. But we will be reunited to main event Wrestlemania.”

This just shows the confidence that Becky and her friends have in their abilties. The Four Horsewomen, in particular, have always been very vocal about their ambitions to main event Wrestlemania some day. They are yet to main event a PPV but that too, looks like it may just happen very soon, many believing it will happen on the Raw brand.

With regards to Becky, she is indeed a unique talent who fans organically enjoy rooting for. She is set to face Alexa Bliss at No Mercy in what will be her first title defense as Smackdown Women’s Champion. There is no word as to whether she will drop the title anytime soon. However, Alexa Bliss and Becky have both had a good program so far.
