WWE

WWE.com, in association with the Academy of Wrestling Arts & Science, publishes a top 25 rank list every week ranking the wrestlers on basis of their performance over the week.

After picking up the pay-per-view business to an extent with TLC, the WWE was back on its mission to live up to the history of its weekly shows. A lot of wrestlers saw new directions while some were still left in the darkness.

There were a lot of movements up and down the list compared to last week. Here is a look at the latest WWE Power Rankings for the week after TLC.

25. Kofi Kingston (Previous Rank – new entry)

Kofi Kingston

Kofi Kingston

The highly energetic Kofi Kingston seems to have benefited from his feud with The Miz despite not having a crystal clear storyline. A win at TLC over the awesome one gets Kofi a place in the list after some time.

24. Fandango (Previous Rank – 25)

Fandango

Fandango

Fandango improves his place in the list with the win over Dolph Ziggler at TLC. The movement is actually good for a mid-carder like him who doesn’t have any good feud or storyline to boast about.

23. Xavier Woods (Previous Rank – 24)

Xavier Woods

Xavier Woods

Woods was used efficiently in the heel turn of Brodus Clay. The angle helped him gain some spotlight while also getting the Funkadactyls and Clay’s moves. The direction for his character seems to be good and he is someone who is expected to go further up.

22. Dolph Ziggler (Previous Rank – 20)

Dolph Ziggler

Dolph Ziggler

If Woods is destined to go up the rankings, Ziggler is someone destined to go down, given the current situation. He hasn’t had any real feud to start with and has been losing on a regular basis. A TLC loss to Fandango drops him two places to 22.

21. R-Truth (Previous Rank – 22)

R-Truth

R-Truth

R-Truth came out with another all-win week and jumped one place up into the 21st position. His pairing with Xavier Woods also seems to be clicking with the fans and the veteran looks to cement his spot in the ranking over coming weeks.

20. Curtis Axel (Previous Rank – 19)

Curtis Axel

Curtis Axel

His new alliance with Ryback seemed strong in the preceding week of TLC but he was seen stumbling under the pressure of pay-per-view. The early elimination affects Axel’s ranks and drops him one place down to 20th.

19. The Real Americans (Previous Rank – 18)

The Real Americans

The Real Americans

Zeb Colter’s men had a bad weekend with a loss in TLC and failed to pick up a win after that. As a result the Real Americans drop and finds themselves at the edge of the top 20.

18. Rey Mysterio (Previous Rank – 23)

Rey Mysterio

Rey Mysterio

The push to the tag team division seems exactly what was needed for the high flying superstar. He and Big Show were together the last team to be eliminated at TLC and they also took a win over the Tag team champions at RAW.

17. Los Matadors (Previous Rank – 16)

Los Matadors

Los Matadors

The highly entertaining tag team continues to drop down the rankings for the second consecutive week. The lack of in ring activity is clearly affecting the superstars and is likely to drop them down further if they fail to find foot in the division.

16. Alberto Del Rio (Previous Rank – 14)

Alberto Del Rio

Alberto Del Rio

Del Rio suffered a concussion after his match against Sin Cara a couple of weeks back and the injury is forcing the Mexican to drop down the rankings. Del Rio’s drop seems likely to continue until he returns to action after being cleared by the doctors.

15. Mark Henry (Previous Rank – 15)

Mark Henry

Mark Henry

A great tag team victory at Raw with Big E Langston helps the ‘world’s strongest man’ to stay at his last week’s position. Henry’s pairing with the Intercontinental Championship also looks headed for a bright ending.

14. Big Show (Previous Rank – 17)

The Big Show

The Big Show

Like Rey Mysterio, the switch to tag team division has been a blessing for the Giant. The win over the Tag team champions also sees Show propel three places to 14th on the ranking.

13. The Usos (Previous Rank – 12)

The Usos

The Usos

The Usos didn’t feature in the TLC pay-per-view and a loss to the Shield in Raw drags Rikishi’s sons one place down.

12. AJ Lee (Previous Rank – 13)

AJ Lee

AJ Lee

AJ once again proved that the division is built around her with a win over Natalya at TLC. Retaining the title has helped her to go up the ranks.

11. Brie Bella (Previous Rank – 11)

Brie Bella

Brie Bella

A win and loss each against Tamina Snuka in the week keeps Brie in the same spot as last week’s. She also has the tag of being the highest ranked diva on the rankings.

10. Damien Sandow (Previous rank – 8)

Damien Sandow

Damien Sandow

Sandow carried a lot of momentum coming into the match against Big E Langston at TLC but the loss he suffered makes him lose ground on his last week’s 8th rank.

5. Big E Langston (Previous Rank – 6)

Big E Langston

Big E Langston

The Intercontinental Champion is carrying a lot of momentum and capped his week off with a win at TLC against Sandow. He also pulled off a big save on SmackDown as CM Punk and John Cena were attacked by The Shield.

4. John Cena (Previous Rank – 1)

John Cena

John Cena

Former WWE champion Cena finds himself dropping big after he lost cleanly to Randy Orton at TLC in the unification match. There seems to be no new direction for the superstar and a rematch is also not yet confirmed which further casts doubt over the rise of Cena from the current ranking.

3. Daniel Bryan (Previous Rank – 3)

Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan

The flying goat maintains his rank even after losing out to the Wyatts. Bryan was also seen winning an impressive match against the new unified champion at RAW.

2. CM Punk (Previous Rank – 2)

CM Punk

CM Punk

Punk had an excellent week this time around. It started with a handicap win over the Shield at TLC and was followed up by another one at SmackDown.

1. Randy Orton (Previous Rank – 4)

Randy Orton

Randy Orton

Orton got an early Christmas gift when he snatched the titles from Cena’s hand. The Authority also seems to be behind the champ who, despite losing to Daniel Bryan at RAW after a thrilling match, seems likely to cement his place as long as the titles are on his waist.
