Will The Viper slay The Beast?

Looks like former WWE World Heavyweight champion Randy Orton has used his 9 months away from WWE ring to not only rehabilitate his Injured shoulder but to repair his broken image in front of WWE officials as well.

Ringsidenews.com is reporting that Orton, who was removed from WWE programming back in October last year when he sustained a shoulder injury and spent some of the time away from WWE, voluntarily in a drug rehab centre which was an addition to his rehabilitation from the shoulder injury.

As per the rules of WWE Wellness policy, Randy's move helped him in getting one of the two strikes removed from his record caused due to his multiple wellness policy violations in past. His last violation came back in May 2012 which saw him get suspended for 60 days

According to the site, Vince McMahon is very happy with this newly found attitude of The Viper and he believes that the former leader of Legacy is more focused and motivated than ever right now. It’s something which was believed to be a problem with him in the past.

Rumors go as far as saying that Randy's recent positive attitude and the backstage heat on Brock Lesnar caused by WWE officials not punishing him despite being tested positive for PED usage following his UFC 200 win, can lead to Orton becoming one of the few superstars to score a clean one on one victory against the beast during their match at SummerSlam.

Although it’s worth noting here that WWE recently told TMZ that part-time wrestlers are not subject to the Wellness Policy, which is why WWE did not take any action against Lesnar.
