WWE Rumors: Brock Lesnar challenging for WWE Universal Championship at Royal Rumble?

Brock Lesnar could be a title contender in his very next match after Summerslam!

The Beast Incarnate, Brock Lesnar, goes up against The Viper Randy Orton in less than two weeks at Summerslam. The expectation by many is that Lesnar will win the match, as he may not be seen again until early 2017, i.e, the build up to Royal Rumble. It is reportedly not yet set in stone who is going to win the inaugural WWE Universal Championship, Finn Balor or Seth Rollins, but either way, whoever is champion by next year will be facing The Beast Incarnate at the Royal Rumble. According to information provided by Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer during an appearance on the Live Audio Wrestling podcast, Lesnar will challenge for the WWE Universal Championship early next year.If this is true, then this is definite that the match will play a pivotal role in the road to Wrestlemania 33 in Orlando next year. Also, by 2017, WWE would definitely be hoping that all the backlash and negative publicity Brock Lesnar is receiving from USADA will cool down so that they don’t get backlash themselves for putting Lesnar in a coveted spot on the card without having appeared much throughout the rest of this year.
