Even the most modest of men would couldn’t help but grin to himself at the thought of two women fighting over him. Except in the WWE, where you’ve got someone like Vince McMahon holding a magnifying glass to everything you do.
Reports have surfaced of a cold war between Women’s Champion Charlotte and former champion Paige over Alberto Del Rio. Paige and Del Rio were photographed at Disney Kingdom in Florida last week, looking quite intimate and shooting forth rumors that they are together.
This has caused major heat between Paige and Charlotte, who was involved with Del Rio a short while ago, according to cagesideseats.com. And what’s worse is that Vince McMahon apparently wants to use this heat in a program between the two, after Charlotte’s feud with Natalya.
This wouldn’t be the first time Mr. McMahon has made art imitate life, remember the CM Punk-Triple H angle and the Cena-Rock feud? Both were rooted in reality. On a related note, Alberto Del Rio is very disgruntled over not yet having received the main event push he was promised when he was wooed back to the WWE after the racism scandal last year.
It is reported that Triple H feels that Del Rio’s ego would get out of hand if he is elevated and has advised Vince McMahon against the move.
