As seen on this week's episode of Smackdown, former NXT women's champion Bayley who was heavily rumored to be called up to the main roster following the Brand Split was surprisingly not a part of the Draft.
In fact, in a recent video the former NXT Women’s Champion herself admitted that she was looking forward to joining whichever brand she would have been chosen for. She said:
"I'd be lying if I said I didn't want to go to RAW or SmackDown, Like I've always done with this, I always have to look at the positive side and right now my main goal is to go after the NXT Women's Championship and become the first-ever two-time NXT Women's Champion."
As we reported before, she is not supposed to debut during the Battleground PPV either and the possible reason behind it seems be her fellow NXT veteran Sasha banks.
As allwrestlingnews.com reports, the possible reason behind WWE holding up the debut of the popular wrestler is because they don't want to drift the focus away from the planned feud between Sasha banks and the WWE Women's Champion Charlotte.
According to the latest buzz, Bayley is not supposed to debut during the next couple of months and officials are planning her debut after Summerslam PPV, sometime in the month of September.
