Sami Zayn could be a part of the WWE Universal Championship match at WrestleMania 33

A close look at Sami Zayn’s bookings since Survivor Series will surely raise genuine doubts about the company’s plans for the former NXT Champion. Rumour had it that Vince McMahon doesn’t like Sami Zayn and that is the reason the creative team is burying him, by feeding him to guys like Braun Strowman.

However, Four3Four has reported that all of this is just a ruse to give Zayn a huge push heading into WrestleMania 33.

According to a WWE insider revelation available with Sheetsandwich.com, it was reported that Sami Zayn’s push would culminate at WrestleMania 33. Zayn would be part of a triple threat match for the WWE Universal Championship alongside Kevin Owens and the returning Finn Balor.

The interesting thing here is that all three wrestlers that were part of this reported match have held the NXT Championship before making their WWE debut.

The report also added that the company is trying to project Zayn unworthy, during his ongoing feud with Braun Strowman. All of this is to just add shock when he is finally pushed.

Can you imagine Zayn becoming the #1 contender for the Universal title in the weeks heading to WrestleMania 33 or maybe even winning the Royal Rumble, especially after being destroyed by Strowman?
