WWE Rumours: Plans for the Undertaker after Survivor Series

Undertaker could be staying on in WWE programming

As we know, SmackDown 900 was a landmark occasion that was marked by the return of the Rated R Superstar, Edge, and one of the blue brand’s mainstays in the Undertaker. Apart from that, the show also moonlighted as the go-home episode before Survivor Series.

As such, it left a lasting impression on viewers when the Deadman issued an ominous warning to the Superstars that would be representing SmackDown in the traditional men’s 5 on 5 Elimination Survivor Series match after hijacking the Cutting Edge segment.

Apart from hinting that he is here to stay on SmackDown, the Undertaker also warned that the Superstar who jeopardises the team’s chances at Survivor Series would have to reckon with his wrath.

The word surrounding this segment now is that team Raw is slated to win the match, and the Superstar that costs SmackDown the loss will be engaged in a feud with the Undertaker, leading to a match at the Royal Rumble.

It comes as good news to the fans of SmackDown that the Undertaker is presumably here to stay, given that WWE programming has been geared towards granting Raw the upper hand in proceedings till now.

With Undertaker on their side, the blue brand can seek to restore some parity in roster depth and boast of equally intriguing storylines going forward. With the Undertaker busting the myth that he would only be working at WrestleMania in his promo, one gets the feeling that the Deadman is looking to enjoy his final stretch before his final hurrah.

Bearing that in mind, we can surely look forward to Creative coming up with befitting storylines to see the legend across the horizon.
