Heading toe to toe with the Live telecast of Raw, The Blue Brand of WWE Smackdown held a Live Event at Wheeling, WV this Monday which included a Tag Team Championship match, as well as a high caliber triple threat main event for the WWE Championship.

The show started with an eight men tag team match which saw the team of American Alpha & Hype Bros facing the team of The Ascension and Breezango. The match was won by the babyfaces.
The latest SmackDown signing Jack Swagger, faced the Lone Wolf Baron Corbin. Unfortunately, the former World Champion couldn't do much and the match was won by Corbin.
Dolph Zigler once again got his hands on his Backlash opponent and the Intercontinental Champion the Miz, who was accompanied by his wife Maryse at the ringside. Ziggler defeated Miz in the non-title matchup.
The inaugural SmackDown Tag Team Champions Heath Slater & Rhyno defended their newly won titles against The Usos. The Champions successfully defended their titles.
The first ever SmackDown Women's Champion Becky Lynch teamed up with Nikki Bella & Naomi to face the team of Natalya & Alexa Bliss & Carmella. Becky along with her partners won the match.
The NXT veteran Apollo Crews squared off against the former Wyatt Family member Erick Rowan. Crews picked up the victory over Rowan.
The New WWE World Heavyweight Champion AJ Styles defended the coveted championship against both John Cena and Dean Ambrose in the Triple Threat main event. AJ pinned Cena after hitting him with a low blow to pick up the victory.
Interestingly, Cena showed his long forgotten singing skills following the bout as he led the crowd into singing CW's traditional "Country Roads" song to end the show.
