Rollins v Kane feud continues

Analysis:

Following the events on NOC/Raw, it seems the feud between The Cosmic Wasteland and Neville/Lucha Dragons will continue. However on this week’s episode of Smackdown the team of Neville & The Lucha Dragons lost more momentum at the expense of the current tag team champions The New Day.

Cesaro continues to be booked with absolutely no direction despite being popular with the fans and being of the best current wrestlers on the roster. At least he was able to pick up a victory here instead of jobbing to the Big Show, even if it was only against Bo Dallas who also has been booked terribly. Cesaro is heavily underutilized and WWE really needs to start capitalizing on his immense popularity at the moment.

Natalya’s involvement in the current divas revolution is definitely a refreshing change and a positive one for everyone involved. Natalya is an incredible in ring performer and can more than hold her own with the likes of Sasha Banks and Becky Lynch. It will be interesting to see how her involvement continues in the coming weeks. It’s possible that she may form an official alliance with Becky Lynch and Charlotte. Paige’s heel turn was also a refreshing change that will likely push her into title contention.

Ryback, Ziggler, Owens, and Rusev are all talented individuals and on this week’s Smackdown they delivered the match of the night. The feuds between Ziggler v Rusev and Owens v Ryback both seem set to continue through to the Hell in a Cell PPV. It’s possible that one of these matches may even be contested inside the cell.

Rollins v Ambrose delivered a solid main event however it’s disheartening to see the world champion lose yet again. It seems certain that Rollins will defend his title at Hell in a Cell against Kane and this bout will more than likely be contested inside the cell. If inside the cell, this match could actually be somewhat intriguing, however, this feud most definitely should be kept to one PPV match and Rollins most definitely must pick up a clean convincing victory to regain momentum.
