Analysis

Due to this being the Wrestlemania week, Smackdown only featured two matches and one promo segment. The rest of Smackdown will be filled with footage from the Wrestlemania AXXESS events which will be running all week.

The main event was a fairly long match that featured several top stars should be very interesting and fun to watch. Apparently, Reigns received some cheers but according to others the crowd was fairly dead throughout the entire show.

It’s also nice to see the Divas be given plenty of time to shine on the mic, especially AJ who is renowned as an incredible performer on the mic. This promo time should help provide some good anticipation and intriguing build to their tag team bout at mania. The divas almost look to be the stars of this week’s Smackdown.

Wrestlemania 31 is now only days away and this week’s Smackdown will be a very simple show that will serve as the last stop before the biggest show of the year.
