WWE Smackdown spoilers - August 1, 2014

Chris Jericho faced Eric Rowan in the main event match.

WWE Smackdown was taped in Corpus Christi, Texas on Tuesday night which means that we have the results unwrapped fro you guys beforehand.

So if you belong to the restless category where you want to know things two days prior to its airing on Friday, here are the spoilers from the show.

• Smackdown opens with Jack Swagger vs Antonio Cesaro. Swagger wins via Patriot Lock. After the match, his Russian nemesis Rusev comes out with Lana and they cut a promo where Rusev challenges Swagger for a match at SummerSlam and Zeb Colter accepts it.
• Randy Orton comes out next and challenges Roman Reigns to a match at SummerSlam.
• A Handicap match between Dean Ambrose vs Seth Rollins and Kane is announced for later.
• R-Truth defeated Bo Dallas via DQ.
• AJ Lee convincingly beats Rosa Mendes via submission. Paige appears and attacks her on the ramp. Officials check on AJ as Paige skips away.
• Kane and Seth Rollins via due to disqualification after Dean Ambrose used a chair to hit the Big Red Monster. Rollins flees while Ambrose continues to bash Kane with the chair.
• We see Paige being stretchered out with a neck brace on.
• Diego wins against Fandango after Layla and Summer Rae distracts the Dancing Superstar.
• Dolph Ziggler and Alberto Del Rio square off inside the ring with IC champion The Miz at ringside. The Miz distracts Ziggler allowing Del Rio to apply the Cross Armbreaker for the win.
• Chris Jericho comes out to face Eric Rowan in the main event match. With the stipulation of Rowan being banned from Bray Wyatt’s ringside at SummerSlam on the line, Jericho defeated Bray’s disciple with the Codebreaker and gained the advantage.Later, Bray came out and attacked Y2J.
