The biggest event of this summer will see the return of Brock Lesnar after WWE, through a survey to its mailing list, asked the fans which superstar they would prefer to see in a feud against the Beast Incarnated for the WWE World Heavyweight title at SummerSlam pay-per-view.
Though it hasn’t been made official, this might certainly be a way of booking Lesnar to face any of the seven contenders of Money In The Bank Ladder match as the list itself suggests that.
The opted superstars include John Cena, Randy Orton, Roman Reigns, Alberto Del Rio, Bray Wyatt, Sheamus and Cesaro. It is almost certain that one of these competitors will be crowned as the new champion at the MITB PPV and that does hint towards WWE’s plans to setup a match between the winner and Brock.
Lesnar has been out of action since his monumental 21-1 Wrestlemania win against The Undertaker. Speculations about his return at SummerSlam have been going around for quite a while now and it seems those rumours are falling accordingly to place.
WWE SummerSlam is scheduled to take place next month on August 17, 2014 at Los Angeles.
