Kofi Kingston vs The Miz
A solid wrestling match for the pre-show that didn’t really have any meaning. The match was well fought and set up the stage for the main show to kick off. The crowd was vocal during the match. Both the wrestlers had some back and forth action with Kingston impressing with a perfect suicide dive to the outside. The Miz was at his usual best but looked a bit off color when it came to applying the Figure Four. The Miz got the victory via pinfall after ducking a low kick from Kofi.
Winner: The Miz
Post-match The Miz offers to shake hands with Kofi but gets a huge slap on the face instead.
Survivor Series 2013 Main Show
Triple H and Stephanie McMahon open the show as they welcome everyone in the ring. They say that Survivor Series is going to be a great PPV because it is going to give the crowd exactly what they want. They announce that there will be no physical interference in any of the matches today.
The Rhodes, The Usos and Rey Mysterio vs. Real Americans and The Shield
An excellent start to the main show as the match had all the ingredients for a perfect beginning. The Shield looked at their very best and the opponents weren’t far behind either. Mysterio and Goldust despite their age and comparatively lesser speed managed to keep up with the young guns and showed us just why they are one of the best in the ring today. Here is the order of eliminations that took place.

- Seth Rollins is eliminated by Rey Mysterio
- Goldust is eliminated by Roman Reigns
Reigns then hits another huge spear to knock Mysterio out and remain as the last man standing in this epic match. Reigns was undoubtedly the performer of the match and the opponents did well enough to sell his spear which has over the past few months grown to be a massive weapon for the Hound of Justice.

Curtis Axel vs Big E Langston (IC Title Match)
Keeping up with such an opener was going to be difficult for Axel and Langston. Both wrestlers despite their best efforts didn’t manage to impress much. The fact that they were given very less time to do the same also didn’t help the cause. Big E Langston hit the Big Ending to pick up the victory.

Regular Divas vs Total Divas
Another forgetful match that WWE could have put on later into the show. The match seemed to drain a lot of energy from the fans already. Anyway Natalya locked in the Sharpshooter on AJ to pick up the victory.

Ryback comes out and challenges the panel that is discussing the PPV. The panel has Hall of Famers Booker T, Bret Hart, Mick Foley and Josh Mathews. He asks any one of the Hall of Famers to come out and face him.
Mark Henry’s music hits and the crowd pops big. He has completely changed to a new Henry with his head shaved.
Mark Henry vs Ryback
This match was set up mainly for the return of Mark Henry and by the look of it the plan seemed to work. The match was short lived as Mark Henry hit an awkward cross body for the pin.
Winner: Mark Henry
John Cena vs Alberto Del Rio (World Heavyweight Championship)
This was undoubtedly the best match of the night till now. The fact that Cena pulled out so many moves apart from his usual moves of doom was pretty surprising.
As expected Del Rio targeted Cena’s bad arm and the champ managed to fight it out. The back and forth action was excellent and each wrestler sold the others move really well. Even Cena who has been guilty of underselling moves often came out and sold Del Rio’s kicks and moves exceptionally well.
The crowd looked far more in support of Cena compared to the other arenas RAW has been lately and this should come as a relief for the 11 time world champion.
Del Rio locked in the cross arm breaker towards the end of the match. Cena fights really hard to break the hold and then hits the AA to win the match and retain the title.

Daniel Bryan & CM Punk vs Luke Harper & Eric Rowan w/ Bray Wyatt
Another excellent match that is clear contender for the best match of the night. The fact that it had Bryan and Punk is reason enough to understand its inclusion in the top PPV matches of the year.
This was the Wyatts first big match in a PPV and the group pulled it off really well. With Punk and Bryan to support them the group looked at ease when it came to impressing everyone watching the match. The mark out moment in the match came between Harper and Bryan as they countered each other’s move. Harper countered Bryan’s kick to the head with a move which Bryan countered with a Hurricanrana. Harper countered the Hurricanrana with a powerbomb for the pin which Punk had to break.
The crowd was hot for this match as they were in full support of both Bryan and Punk. The ‘This is Awesome’ chants during the match was indicative of the match’s superior quality.
Punk hit the GTS on Harper to pick up the victory.
Winner: CM Punk and Daniel Bryan
Randy Orton vs Big Show (WWE Title Match)
The crowd chanted ‘This is Boring’ right from the beginning of the match. Big Show and Orton looked dull within the ring. Orton started things off by knocking Big Show over and putting him in a sleeper.
Big Show manages to pump the crowd up a bit with a few offense and takes the fight outside the ring. Orton is run through the steel steps and pushed into the ring by Show. Orton then hits Show as he tries to get into the ring. Big Show counters and signals for the KO. Orton manages to slither out.
The referee gets taken out by mistake and Orton uses this to get the chair in. Big Show counters and hits a KO. Referee Robinson then counts as Big Show manages to cover Orton. The pin is stopped as Triple H’s music hits and the authority is out to distract Show. The distraction plan works as Orton hits an RKO. He is not able to cover but then hits the Punt kick on Show to pick up the victory.
Winner: Randy Orton
Triple H and the Authority congratulate Orton. John Cena’s music hits and as he walks down the ring and has a staredown with Orton. Both wrestlers lift their title and look at each other as the PPV ends. I guess WWE is hinting at a unification.
