Who will induct Sting into the WWE Hall of Fame?

The Icon is set to take his place along other iconic names in the Hall of Fame

As reported earlier, Sting is the first inductee in the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2016 and would headline the annual event held the night before WrestleMania.

According to reports from PWInsider, authorities backstage have had the idea of Sting being the headline inductee for 2016 for quite a while now and they went ahead with it by giving the Icon the deserved honor.

As far as the one to induct the WCW legend is concerned, Ric flair’s name has been tossed around – which makes sense considering the history between the two legendary wrestlers.

Ric Flair is said to be one of Sting’s fiercest rivals, as both had an epic feud for the now defunct WCW that is the stuff of legends. The contributions of both Sting and Ric Flair to the industry has been unprecedented, which is why Flair is an apt choice for the person who should confer such an honor on Sting.

The Hall of Fame induction ceremony is set to happen on the 2nd of April at the American Airlines Center in Dallas, Texas. One of the major reasons why WWE made the announcement of Sting’s induction was because the tickets for the ceremony go on sale starting this Friday.
