Update on Triple H's Wrestlemania 32 plans, new NXT recruits unveiled

The Rock and Triple H at Wrestlemania 31

The opponent for Triple H at Wrestlemania 32 is a big question going on with the fans and the wrestling universe. It was believed that he may have a feud with Seth Rollins.

Last year at Wrestlemania 31 The Rock came out and forced Triple H and Stephanie McMahon out of the ring along with Rhonda Rousey raising a lot of expectations of a singles or a mixed tag match. There were later reports about The Rock facing the Beast Brock Lesnar, but the reports have been squashed with Lesnar having a program with the Undertaker. Triple H v The Rock is still poised to take place at Wrestlemania 32 according to Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer Radio.

The rumour mill started grinding after a pre-taped segment of The Rock and Triple H was shown on Smackdown in 2014. The Rock with his sporadic appearances may be a good choice for a match with the ‘King of Kings’ as these two performers have consistently delivered on the grandest scale. With Rousey out during the Wrestlemania period due to movie commitments, it looks like a singles match would happen and if it does happen it would be electric.

WWE NXT is a great developmental stage which has given huge stars such as Seth Rollins, Roman Reigns, Dean Ambrose, Kevin Owens among others. There have been wrestlers such as Finn Balor and Samoa Joe who are just a door step away from making it to the main roster. Three young wrestlers who were signed in April by the WWE made their NXT debuts at the event in Fort Pierce, Florida where they competed in a 20 man Battle Royal.

Thomas Kingdon who has been a high school footballer and a body builder, Peter Howard, a rugby player from England and Kenneth Crawford who served four years with the US Marine Corps. This will be the next stage for these men to find themselves in the spotlight and make it to the main roster. These were tweeted after their debuts.
