- It was revealed at last night’s SmackDown tapings in a backstage segment between Kane & Seth Rollins about the next title defense for the new World Heavyweight Champion. It was announced that Seth Rollins will defend his title against the Viper Randy Orton at the Extreme Rules pay-per-view.
Extreme Rules 2015 will take place on April 26th at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont, Illinois. The match is interesting because Randy had picked up a win against Rollins in the second match on the card at Wrestlemania 31, with a spectacular RKO before Rollins cashed in his MITB in the main-event to pick up a sneaky win and become the new World Heavyweight champion.
