AEW has lined up several tag teams who could be next to win the World Tag Team Titles.

AEW All Out 2021 is just a few weeks away, and only two matches have announced. One of the biggest bouts on that pay-per-view will undoubtedly be for the AEW World Tag Team Championships. The titles have been among the most important in the entire company due to how much All Elite Wrestling values its tag team division.

The Young Bucks have held the AEW World Tag Team Titles since Full Gear 2020, and they have crafted a wonderful reign that has featured several exciting contests. They have also become one of the most entertaining acts in the promotion after their heel turn. Matt and Nick Jackson have been built so well that whoever beats them is in store for a huge boost.

With the Young Bucks' opponents at the next major event currently unknown, it seems like a good time to predict who could be the tag team to defeat the champions. In this article, let's take a look at the five duos who could win the AEW World Tag Team Titles.

#5 Jurassic Express - AEW

On next week's AEW Dynamite, The Young Bucks will defend the AEW World Tag Team Championships against the #1 ranked Jurassic Express. The team of Jungle Boy and Luchasaurus have been picking up momentum and should make for a formidable challenge. This matchup also continues a feud that started well over a year ago.

At last year's All Out, the Young Bucks defeated Jurassic Express in a contest that foreshadowed a change in attitude that has been evident in Matt and Nick since April. More recently, Jungle Boy was unsuccessful in a bid at the AEW World Championship against Kenny Omega on the June 26th Saturday Night Dynamite.

Jurassic Express would be ideal for the next AEW World Tag Team Champions because it would be a great payoff for all the Jungle Boy push. The 24-year old has been one of the promotion's brightest stars, as he has had high-profile matches against Chris Jericho, MJF and Darby Allin. Defeating the Young Bucks would feel like a culmination of his journey.

#4 Dark Order (Alex Reynolds & John Silver) - AEW

Two weeks ago on the Fight For The Fallen special episode of AEW Dynamite, The Elite defeated Hangman Page and The Dark Order in a 10-man elimination tag team match to prevent the babyface team from getting shots at the AEW World and World Tag Team Championships. Despite this loss, there is still potential for a fun tag team bout with two men from the Dark Order stable.

When Brodie Lee was introduced as the leader of the faction in AEW, it opened ip a lot of personalities within the group. Alex Reynolds and John Silver stood out due to their comedy in becoming the Dark Order's recruiters. The interplay between Lee and Silver was among the weekly highlights on Being The Elite, too. After Lee's untimely death, fans have seen a new side of Reynolds and Silver.

The two men have shown new focus and drive in the ring, which has translated to more wins for the duo. Silver recently returned from an injury, and he has continued where he left off. This pattern could lead up to the former lackeys coming into their own and getting their chance at the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

A title match against The Young Bucks would be the biggest match in the careers of Reynolds and Silver. Silver showed great babyface fire in his offense against the Elite at Fight For The Fallen. Fans could see more of that and potentially a huge win that would bring the AEW World Tag Team Championships to the Dark Order. This outcome would be a victory that would surely make Lee proud of his former stablemates.

#3 FTR - AEW

FTR has been one of the most decorated tag teams of the past decade. They are the only duo to win the NXT, Raw, SmackDown and AEW World Tag Team Championships. But their reign with the AEW titles was brief after The Young Bucks defeated Dax Harwood and Cash Wheeler in a phenomenal encounter back at Full Gear 2020.

Since they lost the straps, Wheeler and Harwood haven't received a rematch for their titles, though they have consistently been ranked in the top five. Despite being engaged in a bitter rivalry with Santana and Ortiz, FTR would probably like to get back in contention for the AEW World Tag Team Championship.

After another win over their rivals, FTR's rightful rematch could be undeniable, and this bout could be a Match of the Year candidate. Just one year ago, FTR defeated Kenny Omega and Hangman Page to win the AEW World Tag Team Championships at All Out 2020, so it would be poetic if their next chance happens at this year's event.

With The Young Bucks now firmly on the heel side, this contest would be a rather unique battle between the two teams. Both duos have proven that they aren't against breaking rules to get the victory. That alone would make this a much different battle than their all-time classic at Full Gear. By facing, and possibly defeating, The Young Bucks, FTR could remind everyone why they are among the best tag teams in the world.

#2 Lucha Bros - AEW

One of the best AEW Dynamite matches of the year came when The Young Bucks successfully defended the AEW World Tag Team Championships in a stunning clash against PAC and Rey Fenix. This bout continued one of the longest-running rivalries in the history of the promotion, as it started before AEW's first major event.

The Young Bucks and the Lucha Bros have been on opposite sides of the ring from one another more than any tag team combination in AEW history. The two tag teams battled at AEW's first two pay-per-views; they clashed at both Double Or Nothing 2019 and All Out 2019.

The four men have also taken part in several six-man tag team matches with PAC, Kenny Omega and Laredo Kid added to the mix. Also, Rey Fenix once defeated Nick Jackson in one of the best AEW Dynamite matches in the history of the program. Most recently, the Young Bucks were responsible for taking out Fenix and sidelining him for a few months.

Besides the aforementioned tag team bout with PAC and Penta El Zero Miedo teaming with Eddie Kingston against the champs, the Lucha Bros haven't battled with the Young Bucks since their victory at All Out 2019. The two tag teams have also never faced with the AEW World Tag Team Championships on the line.

Penta and Fenix are one of the most sensational tag teams in the business today. They have been overlooked by many, so they will have something to prove in a rematch with Matt and Nick Jackson. If this is the AEW World Tag Team Championship match for All Out 2021, it will surely be a showstealer.

#1 Santana & Ortiz - AEW

AEW All Out 2021 marks the two-year anniversary of Santana and Ortiz's debut in AEW. The two New Yorkers had built a solid reputation for themselves on the independent scene before they came to IMPACT Wrestling. There, they proved to be one of the best tag teams in the world by winning the IMPACT World Tag Team Championship four times.

Upon their arrival in the promotion, the duo quickly joined forces with AEW World Champion Chris Jericho, Jake Hager and Sammy Guevara to form The Inner Circle. This stable has become a mainstay in the company, and it has been featured in many unforgettable moments.

From the first two Stadium Stampede contests to the first Blood and Guts match, Santana and Ortiz have regularly been in the spotlight with The Inner Circle. That being said, the former IMPACT World Tag Team Champions have shined without their group as well. Proud and Powerful defeated The Young Bucks in their first AEW pay-per-view at AEW Full Gear 2019.

Santana and Ortiz were also in the tremendous Parking Lot Fight against Best Friends last year, which is considered one of the best AEW Dynamite matches of all time. Though they lost an AEW World Tag Team Championship bout against The Young Bucks earlier this year, All Out seems like an ideal time to run it back.

With so many big-time major events on the horizon for AEW, there are plenty of suitable stages for Proud 'n' Powerful's moment to arrive. But seeing Santana and Ortiz challenge for the gold on the two-year anniversary of their debut at All Out could be the best path forward.

If AEW made the match a three-way contest between them, FTR and The Young Bucks, Santana and Ortiz could defeat their two rival tag teams in the biggest match of their career. The huge AEW Dynamite Grand Slam event at Arthur Ashe Stadium in Queens, New York could also be a perfect opportunity to give the two native New Yorkers a huge hometown pop. The crowd would certainly go wild if Santana and Ortiz won the gold in Queens.

Whichever event the promotion chooses for the team's crowning moment, Santana and Ortiz have more than proven themselves worthy of being titleholders. They have delivered in every way, and they have been underrated for far too long. That's why Santana and Ortiz are be the best choice to be the next AEW World Tag Team Champions.
