AEW Dark Results - Major heel turn teased, star badly busted open in main event - 15th March 2021

After yesterday's successful premiere of AEW Dark: Elevation, the promotion returned for its regular Dark broadcast on YouTube on Tuesday night.

The latest Dark card featured 15 matches, so we don't have much time to waste. On that note, let's get right to the results and highlights of the brand new AEW Dark episode.


#1. Cezar Bononi (w/ Peter Avalon) vs. Luchasaurus (w/ Marko Stunt) on AEW Dark

The big men locked up to begin the match. Luchasaurus got the early advantage with his patented kicks. The audience loved the clash between the giants, and as expected, a distraction from Peter Avalon helped Bononi gain control of the match.

Bononi attacked Luchasaurus on the outside, and Avalon attempted to get involved in the action yet again. Bononi executed a back suplex on Luchasurus onto the apron.

The action returned to the ring, and Bononi turned Luchasaurus inside-out with a big clothesline. Bononi continued to wear Luchasurus down with a back suplex and a few knees to the lower back area.

Luchasaurus came back with a front kick and headbutt, leaving Bononi unsteady. Luchasaurus connected with a corkscrew kick, and he even stopped Avalon on the apron.

Bononi hit a jumping boot out of nowhere for a near fall. Luchasaurus, however, knocked Avalon off the apron and planted Bononi into the mat for a two-count.

Bononi blocked a chokeslam, and both men engaged in a striking battle. Luchasaurus executed a hook kick, followed by a chokeslam and standing moonsault press for the win.

#2. Leyla Hirsch vs. Savannah Evans on AEW Dark

Despite there being a massive size disadvantage, it was Hirsch who stunned Evans with a German suplex.

Evans blocked an outside drop toehold and showed off her power with an unforgiving slam. Evans then followed it up with a few significant strikes from the top before punishing Hirsch in the corner by driving her shoulders into the gut.

Hirsch, however, was a tough customer, and she created some separation by moving out of a corner striker. Hirsch connected with the double knees in the corner, followed by a big suplex.

Hirsch lifted Evans over her shoulders, but she couldn't complete the move. Evans reversed it and executed a Samoan drop for a two-count.

Hirsch hit a running strike and caught Evans in a cross-arm breaker for the win.

Hirsch had a confrontation with Vickie Guerrero before she made her way backstage.


#3. John Silver vs. John Skyler on AEW Dark

Silver dropped Skyler with a shoulder tackle. The Dark Order member relied on his agility to deliver a dropkick and a hurricanrana.

Silver lit Skyler up with three big kicks. The Meat Mountain of the Dark Order was zoned in tonight. Skyler fought back with a series of clubbing punches.

Skyler went on to enjoy a brief phase of dominance before Silver began his comeback. Silver hit a big kick followed by a boot across the back of the head. Silver won the match with the V-Trigger into an Airplane spin bomb.

#4. Penelope Ford (w/ Kip Sabian) vs. Tesha Price on AEW Dark

Penelope Ford used classic heelish tactics to land a cheap shot after the AEW Dark match began. Price evaded several incoming strikes with her agility, and Ford needed a minute to recuperate.

Price, however, was impatient, and it cost her as Ford fired off a punch. Ford had Price on the apron, and she connected with a springboard knee strike.

Ford then positioned Price on the ropes and hit another running knee. Ford executed an impressive gutbuster, but Price kicked out of the subsequent pinfall.

Price escaped a kick and reacted with a high-round kick. Ford, however, hit a heel kick, followed by a springboard cutter for the win. Penelope Ford celebrated with Kip Sabian after the match.

#5. Chaos Project vs. Fuego Del Sol & Jake St. Patrick on AEW Dark

Chaos Project jumped their opponents before the match bell. Luther attacked Jake St. Patrick, and he decked the wrestler with a flurry of punches.

Luther inverted suplexed Serpentico onto Patrick. Luther hit a Luther Bomb on Patrick, but Del Sol came in and broke up the pinfall.

Del Sol got the tag and hit dropkicks and punches on both Chaos Project members. Del Sol planted Luther with the Tornado DDT, but Serpentico saved the match for his team by breaking up the pin.

Luther eventually shut Del Sol down with a pump kick. Chaos Project went on to execute the Creeping Death for the win.

#6. KiLynn King vs. Jazmine Allure on AEW Dark

Allure took King's back, but KiLynn's standing switch helped her get control of the match. Allure chopped King's legs with kicks, followed by a dropkick and a straight kick to the face.

Jazmine turned her attention to some ground and pound. Allure kept up the pressure with a flipping knee on a grounded King. Allure got a 1-count from a snap mare kick to the back.

King finally woke up in the match with a few punches, clotheslines, and a sledgehammer-like shot across Allure's chest. King executed the giant swing, aka the Cesaro Swing!

Allure was wobbly after ten rotations, but she still managed to get a two-count with a clever sequence. However, King hit the Kingdom Falls for the win.

#7. Angel Fashion, Baron Black, Vary Morales, Ryzin vs. Colt Cabana, Evil Uno, Stu Grayson & Alan "5" Angels on AEW Dark

Grayson wasted no time in the next AEW Dark match as he scooped up Fashion and sent him towards the Dark Order corner. Fashion tagged Morales into the match, but Dark Order was just too strong.

All Dark Order members in the match made quick tags and delivered chops on Vary Morales. Morales was isolated as they ragdolled him in the middle of the ring. Evil Uno came in and executed a few moves, which compelled the commentators to call him underrated.

Baron Black was left alone in the ring and was forced to tap out to Colt Cabana's submission move - an inverted Boston Crab.

#8. The Gunn Club vs. David Ali, Adam Priest, Seth Gargis on AEW Dark

Ali, Priest, and Gargis attacked the Gunn Club, but Billy and his boys were ready for the onslaught.

Austin Gunn hit the Quick Draw for the win as Billy and Colt didn't even have to take their shirts off for the match. Easiest payday ever.

#9. Bear Country vs. Dean Alexander & Brick Aldridge on AEW Dark

Bear Boulder showed off his freakish strength by slamming both his opponents at the same time.

Bear Country hit the assisted frog splash on Alexander and Aldridge. Bronson executed the double pin for the win.

#10. D3 vs. Nick Comoroto (w/ QT Marshall) on AEW Dark

Comoroto stalked his prey, but D3 tried his best not to get cornered in the AEW Dark match.

While D3 used his athleticism and the kick-based offense really well early on, Comoroto hit a massive backbreaker to end all hopes of a possible upset. Comoroto hit his modified power slam finisher for the win.

#11. Varsity Blonds vs. Jorel Nelson & Royce Isaacs on AEW Dark

Pillman Jr. and Isaacs got the match underway with a back-and-forth exchange. Pillman sent Isaacs into the corner with a hammer throw, and Garrison got the tag.

The Blonds worked in tandem in their corner and targeted Isaacs' left hand. Jorel Nelson stopped Pillman from delivering the springboard move when the referee wasn't looking.

Isaacs took advantage and tagged Nelson. Royce and Jorel replicated The Blonds' strategy and displayed some classic tag team wrestling.

Isaacs and Nelson hit a 4-move combo, and their chemistry looked great thus far. Pillman, however, created some separation and made the hot tag to Griff, who came in to deliver hip tosses, backdrops and kicks.

Garrison executed diving splashes in both corners. He hit Isaacs with a Falcon Arrow, and Nelson had to run in to make the save.

Nelson and Isaacs hit an excellent combo move - an assisted DDT for a near fall. They missed their follow-up move, and Garrison sent Isaacs outside.

Pillman got the tag and hit the flying clothesline for the win.

#12. Madi Wrenkowski vs. Vertvixen on AEW Dark

Wrenkowski brought the fight to Vertvixen with a barrage of forearm shimmers. Madi got an early two-count with a face-plant.

Vertvixen replied with a back elbow and a heel kick. A dropkick knocked Madi into the corner, but Vertvixen missed her running attack.

Madi rolled through and hit the leg drop on Vertvixen's stomach for a two-count. Vertvixen hit three thrust kicks. The training partners traded blows in the middle of the ring, and it was Madi who got the upper hand with a few clotheslines.

Madi was fired up as she looked for the finish, but Vertvixen caught her with a flying kick for a near fall.

Vertvixen kicked out of a cradle pin before getting laid out with a drop toehold. Madi hit the Ax kick across the spine for the victory.

#13. SCU vs. Carlie Bravo & Aaron Solow on AEW Dark

SCU has been undefeated since 2021 began, but the #1 ranked tag team in AEW is also one loss away from breaking up forever.

Carlie Bravo and Christopher Daniels engaged in a collar and elbow tie-up. Daniels used his experience to get control with a headlock. CD faced no problems in outwrestling his inexperienced opponent in the AEW Dark match.

However, a confident Bravo showed that he belongs in the ring with a series of quick kicks that knocked Daniels off his feet. Daniels bumped fists with Bravo as a sign of respect before continuing with the match.

Kazarian and Solow received tags, and they got into some mat wrestling. Solow won the sequence, and Carlie Bravo returned. Kazarian used the time to get Daniels back into the match.

SCU started to dominate the proceedings as they systematically attacked Bravo. SCU made quick tags, executed their patented double-team moves, and, most importantly, kept Bravo away from Solow.

Bravo fought out of a chin lock, connected with a few elbows, avoided a punch, and made the tag to Solow. Aaron Solow was fresh, and he took the fight to both members of SCU. He got a two-count on CD with a flying clothesline.

Daniels recovered and hit a facebuster on Solow, who then reversed the Angel's Wings and hit the corkscrew kick. Kazarian then got the tag and went for a quick roll-up on Solow. Aaron replied by kickout out and delivered a diving foot stomp. Bravo got the tag now, and he took to the skies with a high crossbody from the top. Kazarian responded with a big clothesline.

Solow got knocked off the apron, and SCU hit the Best Meltzer Ever on Bravo for the victory on AEW Dark.

#14. Co-Main Event: Sonny Kiss & Joey Janela vs. Brian Cage & Ricky Starks (w/ Hook) on AEW Dark

Brian Cage and Sonny Kiss got the co-main event underway.

Sonny Kiss' agility caught Cage off guard, but the FTW champion connected with a brutal knee strike. He took Sonny Kiss to his corner, and Starks tagged himself into the match.

Kiss connected with a roundhouse kick and Joey Janela came in with a diving crossbody. The Bad Boy used street-fighting tactics to knock Starks down. Janela went for the tope suicida on Cage, but Brian caught him in mid-air and hit the suplex on the floor.

Starks hit a suplex on Janela's back in the ring, but Kiss rushed in to break the pin. Janela was in the wrong corner, and Team Taz's members were on top in the AEW Dark match. Janela hit a sunset flip on Starks for a two-count. However, Hook hit a cheap shot on Janela while Starks distracted the referee.

As noted by Excalibur, Cage and Starks shared some "icy looks" throughout the match.

Janela hit a sliced bread on Starks off of Cage's chest. He made the hot tag to Sonny Kiss, and Cage came into the match from the opposing end. Kiss delivered a rapid-fire combo before going up to the top for a diving Meteora on Cage. Sonny got a near fall, and the match resumed.

Kiss got another two-count, followed by a snappy kick. Starks saved the match but ate a few punches from Kiss.

Team Taz members hit stereo spine busters on Kiss for a two-count. Janela sent Starks outside, and Cage was left exposed to a double suplex.

Janela hit a diving splash, while Kiss delivered the 450 splash. Cage somehow kicked out! Starks was taken out of the equation yet again as Starks and Kiss rocked Cage with many punches and kicks.

Cage switched gears and used his power to slam both Kiss and Janela. Starks came in and hit a big spear on Sonny Kiss for the win on AEW Dark.

Grade: B


Cage wasn't aware that Starks tagged himself in, and both men argued in the ring. Is Team Taz heading for an implosion in AEW? It sure seems like it!

That wasn't all, as Joe Janela gave Sonny Kiss an earful after the loss. Janela apologized for his outburst, and the segment came to an end. A heel turn for Janela in AEW is just around the corner.


#15. Main Event: 10 of The Dark Order vs. Jack Evans on AEW Dark

10 executed a perfectly delayed vertical suplex early in the match. Evans swept 10's feet off the apron before sending him head-first into the steel ring post.

10 got back into the match with a kick, which earned him a one-count. Evans responded with a corkscrew kick. -1 was concerned on commentary as 10 continued to be on the receiving end of a lot of punishment.

Evans got a two-count with a standing sky twister press. Evans hit a running back elbow, followed by a springboard rider kick.

10 finally kicked off his comeback with two powerful clotheslines. Evans, however, kept control with a standing moonsault press for a two-count. Evans had 10 in an armbar, but the Dark Order member reversed it into a pinfall.

Evans worked on 10's arm until the rope break. 10 got back on his feet and executed a ripcord cutter. The referee began the count, and both men were on their feet now.

10 hit two clotheslines and a back body drop. He delivered a big spinebuster, followed by a spear in mid-air to Evans.

Jack kicked out, and everyone was shocked. 10 trapped Evans in a full nelson, but Angelico showed up for a distraction.

10 pump kicked Angelico, but Evans hit a low blow behind the ref's back. Evans then executed a phoenix splash for a near fall.

10 was busted open, but he still finished the match with the full nelson on AEW Dark. Evans hit his elbow in 10's face during the phoenix splash, which caused the cut.

Result: 10 on The Dark Order vs. Jack Evans on AEW Dark
