#5 Daniel Bryan locks a deal with AEW
Reports of Daniel Bryan joining AEW have sparked massive discussion among the wrestling sections of the world in the last 24 hours.
Daniel Bryan last competed on the April 30 episode of SmackDown, where he faced Roman Reigns in a title vs. career match. The Tribal Chief handed a dreadful loss to the leader of the Yes Movement, thus banishing him from the Blue brand forever. Soon after, Daniel Bryan's contract expired, and he didn't show up on television again.
Last night, a report surfaced on social media regarding Daniel Bryan possibly joining AEW. While most of the time, these types of claims have no leads moving forward. However, we have come across several reports from credible sources that have seemingly confirmed Bryan's deal with AEW.
As per the report, Daniel Bryan will be given a lighter schedule with the same pay that WWE had offered to him previously. American Drag will also be provided with a certain amount of creative control.
The company has tentative plans for him, suggesting that Daniel Bryan could debut on a special episode of AEW Dynamite in September, which takes place at Arthur Ashe Stadium in New York.
On top of that, he will be allowed to work some dates in Japan. Considering the above information, his debut in AEW is inevitable.
The addition of Daniel Bryan to the company will add a lot of star power and grab eyeballs to the product. There's a lot of potential dream matches in place for him in Tony Khan's promotion. It's only a matter of when and where.
#4 AEW star Malakai reveals his wife's reaction over his release from WWE
AEW star Malakai Black recently revealed that her wife Zelina Vega broke into tears when she learned about his release from WWE.
Tommy End, formerly known as Aleister Black, was one of many big names that WWE released as part of their budget cuts last month. However, due to the company's blunder in his 90-day non-compete clause, Tommy End quickly signed with Tony Khan's promotion just a month after his release.
He stunningly made his debut in his sadistic persona and assaulted Cody Rhodes and Arn Anderson.
In an interview with Metal Injection, AEW star Malakai Black discussed numerous topics, most notably the reactions of his wife after she learned about his release. The former WWE superstar stated that his wife started crying, but on the contrary, he laughed at his release because the company messed up with his character on Television:
“It’s funny, but as soon as I got released, my wife started crying,” Black recalled. “And I actually started laughing because they built me up for 5-6 weeks, they made me come back [to SmackDown], and now they’re pulling me off TV again? I just couldn’t take the whole situation seriously anymore. I realized that this was not worth it anymore. #3 AEW star Matt Hardy names two greatest tag teams of all time
AEW star Matt Hardy recently stated that The Hardy Boyz and the Young Bucks are officially two of the greatest tag teams of all time.
Matt Hardy and his real-life brother Jeff Hardy, collectively known as the Hardy Boyz, are the most accomplished tag-teams in the professional wrestling business. The duo have won every tag team championship there is to offer. Both men have held a total of 21 championships combined in different other promotions.
The Young Bucks, on the other hand, weren't required to work in Global Juggernauts in WWE to make a name for themselves. They dominated the tag team division in the indie before signing with AEW, where they're the longest reigning tag team champions in the company's history.

#2 AEW Eddie Kingston talks about his dynamic with Jon Moxley
AEW star Eddie Kingston recently stated that he's currently enjoying his alliance with Jon Moxley.
Mox and Kingston have quite a bit of history with each other in AEW. From facing each other for the World Championship to joining forces against their common enemies, both men have depicted an interesting duo on-screen.
In an interview with Chris Mueller of Bleacher Report, AEW star Eddie Kingston discussed numerous topics, most notably his arch-rival in AEW. In an amusing bit, Kingston named Jon Moxley. He also mentioned the Young Bucks because he can easily terrorize them:
"Jon Moxley. Teaming up with him and fighting him has been fun," Eddie Kingston said. "Fighting The Young Bucks is great because you get to see that little bit of fear in their eyes as you're hitting them. That's a lot of fun. Honestly, everyone I have been in the ring with at AEW has been fun because I'm on national television, baby. I'm having fun."
Eddie Kingston, alongside Penta, recently failed to capture the AEW Tag Team Championships from the Young Bucks. However, he could once again go after them as Jon Moxley has now returned to programming.
#1 AEW president Tony Khan takes a dig at WWE
AEW president and co-owner of the Jacksonville Jaguars Tony Khan recently took a shot at WWE's performance center.
After this week's Fyter Fest Night 2 of AEW Dynamite concluded, Tony Khan came out in the ring ahead of the AEW Dark: Elevation tapings. He brought some energy to fans in attendance by unveiling the entire match card for the show.
Tony Khan stated that Jungle Boy would feature in the show's opener, while Chuck Taylor and PAC will collide against each other in a singles bout, which will be the main event.
However, during the announcement, Tony Khan, in an amusing bit, stated that they don't have a performance center, unlike the other promotion (WWE). He further added that their AEW Dark and Dark Elevation are the performance centers for them. He ended his speech by saying that they have the best young wrestlers in the world:
“Thank you for being here,” Khan said. “We’re just getting started. I want to tell you a little about what’s coming. The first match we’re going to have features one of the top wrestlers in AEW. His name is Jungle Boy. We’re gonna have some great matches, including PAC vs. Chuck Taylor as the main event of Elevation. That’s a huge match.
