AEW has built up an impressive roster of legends like Kenny Omega and future stars like Sammy Guevara. It's probably going to get a whole lot bigger come AEW Rampage: The First Dance. While AEW has a host of young homegrown stars like Darby Allin, Jungle Boy and MJF, there are plenty of established stars who made their name in multiple promotions before joining AEW.

Being a new company, it was imperative for AEW to position established legends like Chris Jericho as the face of the company to attract viewers. Wrestlers like Omega and Jericho have long, storied careers that involve multiple title reigns across promotions all over the world.

Along with the aforementioned names, let us look at some of the biggest stars in AEW who have held championship gold in more than three wrestling companies.

#7. Kenny Omega: Titles in AEW, AJPW, NJPW, PWG, IMPACT Wrestling, AAA

Kenny Omega is arguably the best professional wrestler of the modern era. There is not a single company he didn't go to and transform it. From his time in Canadian independent promotions to his Belt Collector persona in AEW, Kenny Omega has held gold everywhere.

A separate article would be needed to go through all of his title reigns, so we'll focus on some of the biggest ones.

In New Japan Pro Wrestling, he lifted the IWGP Heavyweight Championship, IWGP Intercontinental Championship, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Championship twice, IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, IWGP United States Heavyweight Championship and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship twice. On top of that, he won the G1 Climax in 2016, becoming the only foreigner to accomplish the feat.

In All Japan Pro Wrestling, Kenny Omega held the World Junior Heavyweight Championship while lifting the Pro Wrestling Guerilla Heavyweight Championship once. He's a one-time IMPACT Wrestling world champion.

In AEW, Kenny Omega won the AEW Tag Team Championship alongside Adam Page and is the reigning AEW World Champion and Lucha Libre AAA Mega Champion.

#6. Jon Moxley: Titles in AEW, WWE, NJPW, CZW, wXw

Jon Moxley is one of only two people who can claim to have lifted the WWE Championship as well as the AEW World Championship (he has also held it for the longest period, as of this writing).

Although his time in WWE left a lot to be desired, Jon Moxley departed as a WWE champion, United States champion, and a three-time Intercontinental champion. He held the RAW Tag Team Championship twice and was a Triple Crown as well as a Grand Slam champion. Mox won the Money in the Bank ladder match and five Slammy awards.

Jon Moxley and Sami Callihan held the wXw Tag Team Championship once. The Lunatic Fringe won the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship in NJPW and held it for 1.5 years.

#5. Andrade El Idolo: Titles in NWA, CMLL, WWE, NJPW

Yet to win a title in AEW, Andrade already has an impressive CV with titles in the biggest promotions of three countries.

In CMLL, he won the tag team, Universal and Trios titles while lifting the NWA Welterweight and Middleweight titles as well. He's also a one-time IWGP Intercontinental champion in NJPW.

Andrade's most recognizable title reigns came in WWE, where he held the NXT Championship and the WWE US Championship on the main roster.

#4. Cody Rhodes: Titles in AEW, WWE, NWA, NJPW

Cody Rhodes has changed the face of the wrestling business with the inception of AEW.

The American Nightmare enjoyed a decent career in WWE, winning tag team titles six times and the Intercontinental title once. Despite that, the Stardust gimmick pushed him over the edge, and he sought greener pastures.

On his endeavors, he captured the IWGP US Heavyweight Championship in NJPW and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship. He has multiple title reigns in Ohio Valley Wrestling, a developmental territory for WWE before.

Cody is the only man in AEW to be a multi-time TNT Champion and has elevated the title to be taken much more seriously than an average midcard belt.

#3. The Young Bucks: Titles in AEW, Chikara, Dragon Gate, NJPW, AAA, PWG

The Jackson Brothers will go down as a generational tag team, capable of challenging any tag team for the all-time great spot.

Their accomplishments justify their in-ring greatness. They have won tag team titles in multiple countries. In NJPW, they won the IWGP Junior Heavyweight Tag Team Championship, IWGP Tag Team Championship and the NEVER Openweight 6-Man Tag Team Championship.

In Mexico, they were one-time AAA World Tag Team Champions. The Young Bucks have solitary title wins in PWG, Dragon Gate USA, and Chikara. They are the reigning AEW tag team champions, a title they have held since November 7, 2020.

#2. Christian Cage: Titles in IMPACT Wrestling/TNA, NWA, WWE, ECW

Christian Cage's return to wrestling in AEW is one of the best stories of 2021. Captain Charisma will go down as one of the all-time greats in tag team wrestling, and for good reason. Christian won the WWE tag team titles an astounding 9 times.

Apart from that, he had runs with the WWF Hardcore Championship, WWF European Championship, and WWF Light Heavyweight Championship. Christian is a 4-time WWE Intercontinental champion, and his greatest career glory will always be the WWE World Heavyweight Championship, which he lifted twice.

Christian's best singles run came in TNA, where he won the TNA World Heavyweight Championship once and the NWA World Heavyweight Championship twice.

At AEW Rampage, Christian defeated Kenny Omega to become the IMPACT Wrestling world champion.

#1. Chris Jericho: Titles in AEW, WWE, WCW, ECW, NJPW, CMLL

Chris Jericho is probably the greatest of all time. He was the face of AEW when AEW started, and to this day, he is performing at a great level. AEW simply wouldn't have been as good without Le Champion.

Before we look at his title reigns, take a deep breath because this will be long. The Demo God won the IWGP Intercontinental Championship in NJPW, the NWA World Middleweight Championship in CMLL, and the ECW World Television Championship, winning all these titles once.

Jericho was the inaugural AEW World Champion as he brought mainstream attention to the company. However, Jericho's biggest scalps came in WWE and WCW. He lifted the WCW Cruiserweight Championship four times and the WCW World Television Championship once.

In WWE, Jericho has won the Intercontinental Championship a record 9 times, the tag team titles 7 times with five different partners; the WWF European and Hardcore Championships and the US Championship twice.

The greatest moment of his career came when he won the WWF Undisputed Championship, defeating the Rock and Stone Cold on the same night. He's a two-time WCW World Heavyweight Champion and a three-time WWE World Heavyweight Champion.
