Luka Doncic age: Tracing Dallas Mavericks' teen years which were spent at Real Madrid

Before making his mark in the NBA, Luka Doncic made massive strides in the EuroLeague and Liga ACB, leading his franchise, Real Madrid, to a EuroLeague title and 3 Liga ACB titles.

Doncic's debut for Real Madrid made him the youngest player to do so in the club's history. Doncic played just three games in 2014-15 and averaged just 2.7 minutes per game.

2016-17 would see Luka Doncic take significant leaps. On his way to becoming the youngest-ever MVP of the Round of the EuroLeague, Doncic recorded 16 points, six rebounds, five assists, and three steals over Brose Bamberg.

He accomplished the feat twice: once in January against Maccabi Tel Aviv, when he had 10 points, 11 rebounds, and eight assists, and again in February, during the EuroLeague playoffs.

Doncic was subsequently named the EuroLeague Rising Star and also won the ACB Best Young player award. The 2017-18 season would bring Doncic's first EuroLeague title and his third ACB title.

Doncic averaged more than 10 points for the first time in either ACB or the EuroLeague, with him averaging 16 points per game, 4.8 rebounds per game, and 4.3 assists per game. In the ACB, Doncic added 12.8 points per game, 5.7 rebounds per game, and five assists per game.
