Yes he has taken a 5 wicket haul, yes he has made a fifty; but Pandya's contributions been few and far between. What is interesting is the fact that the allrounder, along with Virat Kohli, has been the only constant in India's Test match scheme.

While everyone around him has been chopped and changed, the team management is finding it extremely difficult to drop the allrounder.
