After being married for 8 years, Shikhar Dhawan and his wife, Ayesha Mukherji got separated last year in September 2021. The two also have a son together, named Zoravar. Ayesha took to Instagram and disclosed about the divorce through a long Instagram post, stating how she feels after being a two-time divorcee and even shared her thoughts on the positive side of getting a divorce, saying, “Divorce means choosing myself and not settling and sacrificing my own life for the sake of marriage. Divorce means even though you do your best and try your best things sometimes do not work out and that's ok."
She was previously married to an Australian businessman and has two daughters from that marriage named Aliyah and Rhea whom Dhawan had adopted when the two got married.
