Cloud 9 won the North American regional finals

PMCO Fall Split Finals 2019 Team Spotlight: Cloud 9 is ready to rock at the global finals

The PMCO Fall Split Global Finals are on the horizon, and fans are gearing up for the mega-event. The tournament will feature sixteen teams from across the globe fighting out for a prize pool of $500,000.

Cloud 9 is one of the biggest Esports organizations and last year they entered the PUBG Mobile scene after they acquired Team Gates lineup. The team has been subpar in most of their tournaments and it was not until recently when they won their first major title. Cloud 9 won the PMCO regional finals for North America and will now take part in the global finals that will be held in Kuala Lumpur.

Tybalt "UnEeVeN" Mallet is one of the most notable players on the team and usually plays as an assaulter. He won the MVP for PMCO Fall Split and was one of the major reasons Cloud 9 won the PMCO regional finals.

Cloud 9 playstyle and performance

The addition of UnEeVen, Prekisas, and Pyrrha has changed the face of Cloud 9 entirely. Despite being a big organization, Cloud 9 hardly impacted the PUBG Mobile scene before the addition of these three players. However, after winning the PMCO Fall Split regional finals, they are now walking into the global finals as one of the premier teams.

Cloud 9 is a very aggressive team that likes to play through its assaulters. This was on full display during the regional finals as the team ended with 58 kills in 10 rounds. UnEeven and Perkisas often lead the charge for Cloud 9 with Bewulf and Pyrrha providing necessary backup. Although they play aggressively, Cloud 9 usually takes calculated risks. This is the reason Cloud9 never finished outside the top 10 in their 10 rounds during the PMCO regional finals. Overall, Cloud 9 is a very compact team, and their performance is consistent on the big stage. They will look translate their solid performance from the domestic circuits to the international stage, and even though it’s an uphill task, it’s in their realm.
