Ranking the top 5 finishers in the Premier League right now
The English Premier League is home to some of the world's best attackers.
The league is no longer led by a 'Big Four', as has been the case for the last couple of decades.
There are arguably between six and eight teams that are competing for the top spots right now and who ends where is anyone's best guess. All teams are equipped with some world-class attacking talent that we, as fans, get to see every week.

#5. Jamie Vardy - Leicester City
Jamie Vardy's story has been nothing short of a fairytale.
Starting out originally in the lower tiers of English football, Vardy's rise to fame has been simply phenomenal. Since signing for Leicester in 2012, his story has seen some unexpected twists and turns.
Blessed with blistering pace and a killer instinct in front of goal, Vardy is definitely one of the best strikers in the league. He was a key figure in Leicester City's title-winning run in 2015-16 along with the likes of Riyad Mahrez and Ngolo Kante.
He broke Ruud Van Nistelrooy's record of scoring in 10 consecutive games in the Premier League. He ended the season with 24 goals.
Vardy has maintained an exceptional scoring record in the last few years. He rarely seems to experience slumps in form and has built quite a reputation for scoring against traditionally bigger teams.
The 34-year-old has also been called up to the English national team, earning 34 caps for the Three Lions. Despite his age, he still leads the charts for most goals this season with six already to his name.
#4. Romelu Lukaku - Chelsea
Romelu Lukaku is widely regarded as one of the best strikers in the world.
The Belgian has made quite a name for himself in the last decade. Having represented several clubs in different countries, Lukaku has exceeded expectations every time.
Lukaku has a fair bit of experience with the Premier League. He has represented West Brom, Everton, Manchester United and Chelsea over the past several years. His most recent endeavor was a title-winning run with Inter Milan in Italy last year, before he ultimately signed for Chelsea this summer.
The Belgian has been described by many as the perfect striker. His key attributes are his strength and pace. Lukaku is capable of shooting with either foot and is also excellent in the air.
Lukaku has had a great start since returning to Chelsea: he already has three goals to his name. There is no doubt he will continue to keep up his excellent goalscoring numbers.
#3. Harry Kane - Tottenham Hotspur
Harry Kane is one of the most in-demand strikers in world football.
The Tottenham Hotspur man has produced outstanding numbers over the past few years and has cemented his place as one of the best strikers in the league. Blessed with immaculate finishing, Kane is regarded by many as the face of the league.
Kane has excellent shooting ability. He has displayed his precision many times over the past few years and is seen as a lethal attacking player. Kane has also evolved his game of late, even adding playmaking to his list of skills.
His performances earned him a call-up to the English national team in 2015. In the six years since, Kane has earned 65 caps, scoring 41 goals. He was also appointed as the captain of the team in 2018.
In the 2020-21 season, Kane ended up as a top scorer with 23 goals and also made the highest assists (14).
Ater that performance, Kane was linked heavily with Manchester City this summer, but a move failed to go through. Despite being an outstanding striker, Kane has yet to win any major trophies. Only time will tell if Kane will finally win a trophy and end his long wait.
He is yet to score in the Premier League this season, though.

Mohamed Salah has been an absolute sensation since joining Liverpool in 2017.
In his four years at the club, Salah has already become a club legend and has been pivotal in the club's return to the upper echelons of the Premier League.
Salah displays several world-class abilities. His pace and his finishing are his standout skills and Salah has put them up on display ever since he joined the Reds.
The Egyptian has an insane goalscoring record. Since coming to England, no player has scored more goals than Salah. He has also won the Golden Boot twice.
Salah has already won several trophies with Liverpool, including the Premier League, the UEFA Champions League and the FIFA Club World Cup. His contributions are critical in ensuring Liverpool are able to compete with the world's best.

Cristiano Ronaldo is arguably the best goalscorer in football history.
The Portuguese attacker has enjoyed a phenomenal career at club and country level. He has been good enough to represent some of the world's best clubs. These include Manchester United, Real Madrid and Juventus, with Ronaldo shining at all of them.
His goalscoring record is second to none. Ronaldo has astounding numbers with all his clubs with regards to goals scored and assists provided. Ronaldo displays excellent skill and ability: he is adept at using both feet and is unparalleled in terms of heading ability.
His achievements at the country level are also outstanding. Ronaldo recently became the highest international goalscorer of all time, surpassing the record previously held by Iran's Ali Daei (109).
The summer saw Ronaldo return to Old Trafford in a blockbuster move that was unexpected for many. His return after 12 years has begun brilliantly, with Ronaldo already scoring five goals in six appearances.
