AEW Dynamite Results: Huge title change, wrestler thrown into swimming pool, Moxley vs PAC

That ending appeared to come out of nowhere. Now Moxley will be challenging PAC for the AEW Championship at Revolution.

Jon Moxley defeats PAC to become the #1 contender for the AEw Championship

PAC rips the bandage off and the shots are to the eye. Moxley goes for the Inside Cradle, but PAC kicks out. Moxley hits the DDT and then the Paradigm Shift.

That's it.
Moxley won.

Moxley is not ready to submit yet. Moxley gets his leg to the rope.

Moxley goes to the top rope now but PAC gets up and hits Moxley with the Superplex. PAC goes for the Brutalizer and it's locked in.

Moxley eats a kick and then stops the second one and hits the DDT for the near-fall. PAC almost lost that one.

Moxley's eye is apparently bleeding.

Moxley tries a Sleeper Hold, but PAC reverses and heads to the top rope, but Moxley avoids it yet again.

PAC heads to the top rope and goes for the Red Arrow but Moxley gets his knees up and rolls up PAC for the near-fall.

PAC hits a few kicks to the eye of Moxley and hits the running Dropkick.

Moxley goes for another Suplex, but PAC reverses and hits an eyebreaker. He then goes to the top rope with Moxley and goes for the Superplex. Moxley punches him to stop him and dumps the Superstar in the ring. He then manages to hit the Elbow, but it was on the knee of PAC. PAC goes for the Brutalizer, but Moxley reverses.

Moxley and PAC are finally back in the ring and now that they are down on the ground the referee is finally counting. The refereeing really does not make sense.

Moxley and PAC exchange blows now after getting to their feet. PAC stops Moxley with a kick. Moxley reverses and hits an Inside Out Suplex.

They fight outside the ring and the referee is not counting them out. This seems to be the same AEW refereeing issue that has been seen. If the match had been no holds barred, this would have made sense, but both Superstars have been out of the ring for at least a minute and the referee has not even attempted to begin a count.

Jon Moxley is hurt at the moment and this is worrying. He still manages to send PAC over the barrier at ringside.

PAC grounds Moxley and works away at the damaged eye.

An elbow hurts Moxley and he sends PAC into the ropes. PAC is focusing his attacks on Jon Moxley's eye.

PAC looks to take control of Jon Moxley's back but they break up soon enough.

Jon Moxley ism ready to face PAC now. The match has started and in the beginning it appears that PAC is trying to stay on Moxley's blind side.

Moxley is coming out with his eye bandaged. With his eye hurt, it will be interesting to see how he can fight PAC.

Up now: No. 1 Contender Match - Jon Moxley vs PAC

Cody says he knows he can't touch Max. But.... Nick and Matt Jackson can. They hit the Superkicks on MJF. They push MJFto the pool and throw him in.

MJF provokes Cody by kicking away the mic from him and then walking away when he finally gets the mic.

MJF addresses Cody's comments from last week but is interrupted by Cody himself.

Joey Janela is distracted on the outside by Kip Sabian and Penelope Ford. MJF hits the Double Cross by MJF to pick up the win.

Results: MJF defeats Joey Janela

Janela hits MJF with a huge Superplex. MJF is down but not out as he was able to kick out.

Janela has managed to get control of the match and has MJF in a headlock. Janela is dropped again and he looks in trouble once again as MJF continues to concentrate on his ankle.

MJF appears to have hurt his head early on. Janela follows him down the ramp and MJF rakes his eyes. Janela still manages to do a back body drop on MJF.

Janela and MJF start with some chain wrestling.

Up now: Joey Janela vs MJF

Marko comes in but soon enough, he wishes he didn't as Luchasaurus fights Hager to the back. Marko is hit with the Judas Effect and Inner Circle win.

Results: Inner Circle defeat Jurassic Express

LUCHASAURUS IS NOW IN. Quite the pop for him as he takes out all three members of Inner Circle in the ring. He takes out Santa with the Shining Lizard and Ortiz with the Headbutt. He then takes out Jericho and Ortiz with the double chokeslam and then a moonsault on Jericho.

Jungle Boy tries a pin on Jericho again, but that does not work. Jericho takes Jungle Boy to the top rope but is dropped. Jungle Boy hits the Crossbody on Jericho.
