The crowd chants "ONE MORE TIME!" and Owens is happy to oblige. Reigns and Owens don't seem like they've become friends, but it's clear that Reigns is rooting for him. An unusual moment of respect between the two men.

Shane McMahon flees but Reigns catches him and hits him with a superman punch inside the ring, while Owens knocks Shane out with a stunner

The crowd is fully behind Roman Reigns. They start off even and clinch in the corner and McIntyre separates them and pushes Owens, telling them that he's the referee. It doesn't last long and Owens and Reigns attack McIntyre together, throwing them out. They try to beat down Shane McMahon but the numbers game catches up to them. Reigns gets beaten down but Owens interjects. McIntyre eats a spear, Elias eats a stunner and the crowd is hot!

Finn Balor vs "The Fiend" Bray Wyatt is official for SummerSlam!

Bray Wyatt says that Mercy and he are big fans of Finn Balor for his bravery. The Fiend? Not such a big fan. The Fiend accepts his challenge and Wyatt asks "Let me in"

Kayla Braxton asks Finn Balor how he got in the crosshairs of Bray Wyatt. A rather shaken Finn Balor is unable to understand any of Wyatt's action. Balor says he's stared fear in the eyes before. He challenges Finn Balor to a match at SummerSlam. And suddenly, Firefly Fun House?

Kofi Kingston's pressure allows him to set up the finish but Joe pushes him away and avoids it. Randy Orton comes in and tries to hit the RKO but Kingston spots it. Samoa Joe interjects and eats an RKO but gets dropped by a Trouble in Paradise! The tables have been turned!

Kofi Kingston continues the pressure on Joe, drop kicking him outside the ring. Powered by positivity, a fired-up Kingston jumps on Joe outside. He runs into Joe in the corner and hits a series of strikes but Joe falls down and counters in a clever way.

Orton admits that he DID hold him back, but he did him a favour because he wasn't ready then...and he isn't ready now. Orton says that he never had to fake a Jamaican accent, shake his backside or throw pancakes. He just had to be Randy Orton. And for the last 18 years, it's worked. He says that he can take the WWE title from him whenever HE wants to. Kofi Kingston urges him to give it a try at SummerSlam.

He says that he can't forget it because that was supposed to be his breakout to the main event. He says that it didn't happen because Orton used his influence to make sure Kingston would stay down. And it worked....until it didn't.

This first-time-ever match-up. Charlotte has her down and suddenly, Bayley's music hits. The distraction allows Moon to get the pin on Charlotte Flair!

She stands by Bayley's side and Charlotte seems confused by their alliance. Turns out it's NO alliance because Ember throws Bayley back in the ring to get booted by Charlotte! Ember then hits an eclipse on Charlotte and then on Bayley! She stands tall heading into next week!

Ziggler says that the only second-rate Shawn Michaels is the one he's looking at. He goes on a rant and The Miz tells him to shut up and do something about it. Ziggler and The Miz get ready to slug it out and Michaels tries restraining The Miz. Michaels looks back at The Miz and nearly eats a punch, but Ziggler attacks The Miz instead. He then hits a superkick on Michaels and flees away.

Shawn Michaels doesn't disagree with Ziggler. It was embarrassing. He says that it's not as embarrassing as working one's whole career and being known as a SECOND RATE SHAWN MICHAELS

Ziggler says that he used to idolize Michaels and that he's glad that he's here. He tells Michaels that he's as disgraceful as GOLDBERG IN A RING! Damn!

He even tells Michaels that when he returned last November, he was embarrassing.

Miz asks Shawn Michaels how he feels about the reunion, with some superstars believing that it takes away from the young talent. Michaels says that he's been on both sides and been bitter about old talent, but as Steve Austin said, they're family and they take every opportunity to come back

Ali is sitting in a staircase and is talking about how he knows that injury in February changed everything. He says that he's taking a pen and writing his own story. He vows that Ali will go down in history for his story.

Nakamura kicks Apollo Crews after the match and hits a kishasa on the outside.

Shinsuke Nakamura gets him down in position for the Kinshasa and comes close, but Crews catches him with an enziguri. He hits an Olympic Slam on him but it's TWO!

Apollo Crews pushes Nakamura outside and hits a backflip on him.

Apollo Crews starts off with a slam to Nakamura after a quick feeling-out process. He lifts Nakamura up in suplex position and just HOLDS him there! STALLING SUPLEX!

Shane McMahon is backstage with Elias and Drew McIntyre. Elias is sucking up to Shane McMahon for his idea to pit Owens up against Roman Reigns. Shane names Drew McIntyre the special guest referee and Elias as the special guest timekeeper. Shane is the special guest...announcer?

He says that since Owens wants to compete, then he can. And it'll be up against ROMAN REIGNS tonight!
