Conor McGregor reacts to Tony Ferguson's hilarious KO animation

Conor McGregor has had a busy 24-hours. He has rekindled his rivalry with Dustin Poirier, told Nate Diaz that their trilogy fight will happen, and put Joe Rogan on blast for accusations he made on his JRE podcast.

McGregor is now setting his sights on Tony Ferguson after the former TUF winner uploaded an animated video of him being on the receiving end of a knockout. The Irishman found the video funny, but still managed to get his shots in on him as he wrote:

"Hahahaaha I look at this and think what the actual f**k is my life on here...jolly ol mcnacker hahahaah ah stop man...well sure look, least I'm rockin round jolly anyway ye little sad broke tick hahahaha"

Ferguson didn't just tweet the animated video as he captioned it with a message directed towards 'The Notorious,' writing:

"Guess What Day It Is!?! It's Mcnugget Monday MF'as!!! "Bet'cha Jolly Ol' Mcnacker Is Still Lookin' For His Sauce *mack* Remember Crew Keep Your Stick On The Ice & Don'Let'Chur Meat Loaf - Champ -CSO- Season's Beatings & # Jingle # Nah Mean"

Ferguson could also be putting his name in the mix for a fight with 'Mystic Mac' and it clearly got his attention as the former two-division UFC champion responded. It remains to be seen whether a fight between the two is realistic, but the Irishman has a long list of fighters targeting him for his return.

Conor McGregor vs. Tony Ferguson never materialized

Conor McGregor and Tony Ferguson have a long history with each other and a bout between them looked to be on the horizon in 2018.

'The Notorious' was the reigning UFC lightweight champion, coming off his boxing bout with Floyd Mayweather at the time. Meanwhile, 'El Cucuy' was fresh off a submission win against Kevin Lee at UFC 216, where he became the interim lightweight champion.

An undisputed lightweight title fight between the two seemed logical, however, that didn't end up happening. Instead the promotion stripped McGregor of the title and booked Ferguson vs. Khabib Nurmagomedov for the vacant lightweight championship instead.

Neither fight happened as 'El Cucuy' was forced to withdraw due to injury and Nurmagomedov went on to defeat Al Iaquinta for the vacant title. When McGregor returned, he fought 'The Eagle,' while Ferguson had to continue racking up wins before earning another title opportunity.
