Andrew Tate will fight Conor McGregor under one condition: Throwback

In October 2022, Andrew Tate was interviewed by Rob Moore and was inevitably asked about the possibility of a fight against Conor McGregor. While Tate had a decently successful kickboxing career before turning into a YouTube celebrity, his credentials certainly stand in no comparison to those of the former UFC double champ. Regardless, 'Cobra' had no qualms pointing out his size advantage over McGregor.

However, Tate laid down one condition to fight the Dubliner. The self-proclaimed misogynist claimed that he needs to have a personal problem with a person in order to fight him. While the bout would definitely make for a lucrative payday, 'Cobra' dismissed the idea citing a liking for McGregor:

"That’s an interesting one, I guess. I mean he is still in his prime, I’m a lot bigger than him. He is very good, very capable. We would certainly have a lot of good trash talk. It would make a lot of money. But again I would need a personal problem with him to fight him...I have nothing against Conor, kind of like the guy so there would have to be a good reason."

Andrew Tate went on to name fellow YouTuber True Geordie as a potential opponent, which speaks volumes about the kind of fights 'Cobra' was probably eyeing.

Conor McGregor's coach weighs in on Andrew Tate

Andrew Tate and his brother Tristan are currently detained in Romania after being arrested last December on allegations that include rape and human trafficking. Despite his openly misogynistic rants and sketchy "Matrix" theories, 'Top G' continues to be a role model for his followers, who are now a substantial number.

However, Conor McGregor's longtime head coach, John Kavanagh, is not one of them. Weighing in on Tate, the SBG Ireland head honcho recently stated that the motivational messages that Tate sends out can be received by much better men. Kavanagh wrote on Twitter:

"Everyone else has opinion on #AndrewTate so why not me haha. He openly admits to colluding with "hot" women to scam lonely guys for material shit and instant gratification. Hard pass. The good messages of discipline, ownership, hard work etc can be received from much better men."
