Heavyweight boxer with a knockout percentage of over 95 calls out Francis Ngannou for a fight in Japan

Francis Ngannou has received offers from numerous fighters who are interested in sharing a ring with the titan since leaving the UFC, and that remains the case as a professional boxer with a knockout record of over 95% has called him out.

'The Predator' parted ways with the UFC following a contract disagreement, leaving the heavyweight title vacant and walking into free agency as one of the most dangerous men on the planet. Although the door isn't closed on an octagon return, it looks like a difficult deal to make between the two parties.

In a post on social media, heavyweight knockout artist Christopher Lovejoy presented a challenge to Francis Ngannou as the boxer looks to meet the former UFC star in Japan:

"Who can contact Francis Ngannou? I want to make him an offer to fight me in Japan."

Ngannou has been vocal about his intentions to venture into the world of boxing and has been given a clear opportunity to do so, albeit against a much lesser-known opponent than he would like.

Christopher Lovejoy is a 6' 5" American-born heavyweight with a knockout rate of 95.24% in his 22 bouts in the sport. Although having such a high KO percentage is a huge benefit for any boxer, his opponents have been less than impressive.

Lovejoy has won 21 of his 22 fights. Despite having a great record, his sole loss in the ring came against the one man (Mahmoud Charr) who could be seen as a legitimate challenge.

Since leaving MMA on hold to pursue a boxing dream, Francis Ngannou has yet to find an opponent, but he does have a number of big-name options to choose from.

'The Gypsy King' Tyson Fury, Deontay Wilder, and Dillian Whyte have all publicly announced their interest in facing the former UFC heavyweight champion inside the boxing ring.

Both 'The Bronze Bomber' and 'The Body Snatcher' have welcomed the chance at facing Ngannou in an MMA cage for a rematch after their clash in the squared circle.
