Georges St-Pierre on how his fighting career helped him to be an actor

During a 2021 interview with Yahoo Finance, former UFC two-division champion Georges St-Pierre explained that there's a lot of similarities between fighting and acting.

St-Pierre shared that he used to act confident and put on a tough face before all his fights, even when he was dead scared inside. 'Rush' added that the mental warfare involved in MMA was very much comparable to acting:

"I think there is a lot of similarities to fighting and acting. I act[ed] pretty much all my career. Before every fight I'm terrified, I'm extremely uncomfortable when I walk in the octagon. But I have to act like I'm excited and happy to be there to not give my opponent some confidence. A lot of mental warfare [is involved] so you have to act."
