Rodtang Jitmuangnon wants to hold world title for as long as possible

ONE flyweight Muay Thai world Rodtang Jitmuangnon believes one of his biggest missions in life is to hold the world title for as long as possible.

Fresh off his 5th successful world title defense this year, the Thai megastar looking forward to keep doing what he does best. He defeated some of the biggest stars in the Muay Thai world before the age of 25, but he continues to feel like he’s just getting started.

No matter who or where his next big fight takes place, ‘The Iron Man’ is always ready to fight for what’s his. He recently released the following statement to his Facebook fans online with the translated caption:

Before Rodtang joined ONE Championship in 2018, he had already made a name for himself in the Muay Thai world as one of the fastest-rising stars in Thailand.

Fighting out of the famed Jitmuangnon Camp in Bangkok, Rodtang produced a total of 271 wins in over 300 fights and owned two Omnoi Stadium World Titles before defeating former divisional king ‘The General’ General Haggerty for the ONE flyweight Muay Thai world title in August 2019.

He continued his winning spree in dominant fashion for the next four years, defeating monsters such as Petchdam Petchyindee and ONE strawweight Muay Thai world champion Joseph Lasiri along the way.

As fans have witnessed most recently, ‘The Iron Man’ is showing no signs of slowing down. After having a successful U.S. debut on May 5 against Edgar Tabares, he called out famed Japanese kickboxer Takeru Segawa and Jonathan Haggerty as potential opponents for his next appearance.
