Cowboys' Micah Parsons proposes big change ahead of 2023 NFL season

Micah Parsons has already established himself as a household name in the NFL. The dominant linebacker has been a nightmare for opposition QBs facing the Cowboys since 2021.

All this while, Parsons has been wearing jersey number 11. But if he sticks to his word, he's going to be donning a new one soon.

Now that NFL players can wear No. 0, who should be the first to wear it for the Cowboys?

A successful proposal at the annual NFL owners' meetings will now allow players to sport a number 0 on their jerseys. The last NFL player to play under that number was linebacker Bryan Cox in the 2001 preseason.

Parsons claims that he will now become the first Cowboys player to sport the number and thus become Agent 0.

Who is the most successful player to wear jersey number 0 in NFL history?

The jersey number zero has always been a rare sight in the NFL, with only a handful of players wearing it throughout the league's history.

None though have come close to accomplishing what Jim Otto achieved throughout his illustrious NFL career.

The former center played for the Oakland Raiders for his entire career and was a 10-time Pro Bowler and a three-time First-Team All-Pro. Otto was also inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1980.
