NFL fans brutally troll Skip Bayless for his hot take on Super Bowl 2024

Despite this year's Super Bowl yet to be played, Skip Bayless has already given his thoughts on the team that will represent the AFC in 2024, the Los Angeles Chargers.

After taking a 27-0 lead over the Jacksonville Jaguars in the wild-card round, the Chargers stumbled to lose on a last-second field goal. That isn't exactly a team one would vouch for in the Super Bowl next year.

But that didn't keep Bayless from taking to Twitter to make his Super Bowl 2024 prediction official. Once he expressed his thoughts, NFL fans came for the Fox Sports Undisputed co-host, with one fan likening the Chargers to the Dallas Cowboys.

Other NFL fans gave their two cents' worth, with many trolling Bayless' pick.

Apparently, most fans aren't in agreement over Bayless' tweet regarding the Chargers' Super Bowl aspirations. Given the offensive weaponry and the stars on defense, there may be a case, but every season there appears to be a big reason why the Chargers fail.

Why did Skip Bayless pick the Chargers for the Super Bowl?

It doesn't take much digging to find a possible reason for Bayless' pick for the 2024 Super Bowl. The team he supports, the Dallas Cowboys, just fired offensive coordinator Kellen Moore. Coincidentally, the Chargers hired Moore as their new offensive coordinator. Could that be a reason for Skip's optimism? Possibly.

Moore played a significant role in helping the Cowboys remain in the top five offenses in the NFL over the last two years. Potentially, Skip Bayless sees him doing the same with the Chargers.

Given that something had to change in L.A., Moore could be the answer on offense to get the best out of Justin Herbert. Still, it is a little too early to be doing picks for the 2024 Super Bowl.
