“I’m just laughing at him” – Pete Carroll’s Super Bowl play call for Russell Wilson amused Marshawn Lynch

Super Bowl XLIX may have been nearly eight years ago, but former running back Marshawn Lynch still vividly remembers it. In particular, the play that cost the Seattle Seahawks the win.

With 24 seconds remaining, the Seattle Seahawks were at the New England Patriots one-yard line. In Super Bowl XLIX, the former NFL running back had 25 touches for 133 total yards and a touchdown.

He was one of nine former alumni who were inducted into the Hall of Fame class that also included some other recognizable names: MLB Hall of Famer Rickey Henderson, NFL quarterback Josh Johnson, former NBA player Leon Powe, Josh and Terrell Lowry (who played both baseball and basketball) and former San Antonio Spurs' player Northern Shavers.

The inductees were presented with plaques and Hall of Fame letterman jackets. The school hopes to honor those who have made contributions to the school each year.
