Brit Cameron Norrie will attempt to clinch his second ATP 1000 Masters title at the Miami Open. The 27-year-old will begin his campaign on Friday (March 24).

Norrie's first ATP 1000 Masters title came in the Sunshine Double's first half, the BNP Paribas Open in 2021 where he outclassed Georgian Nikoloz Basilashvili 3-6, 6-4, 6-1.

At last year's Miami Open, Norrie was defeated by Norway's Casper Ruud in the round of 16, 6-3, 6-4. The year before that, he was ousted by American Taylor Fritz in three sets, 6-4, 3-6, 6-1. In 2018 and 2019, the Brit was unable to get past the round of 128 (first round).

Norrie's best result at the Miami Open came last year. At the recently concluded Indian Wells Masters, Norrie made it to the quarterfinals but was defeated by Frances Tiafoe in straight sets, 6-4, 6-4.
