NHL fans not happy as Fanatics is set to become uniform partner - "Literally, the worst way to go"

The NHL has announced that starting with the 2024-25 season, they will have a new on-ice uniform partner, the Fanatics. The partnership will extend to all teams across the NHL and is expected to bring about significant changes to the league's uniform and apparel merchandise.

The move is seen as a major shift in the league's marketing strategy and a step towards expanding its reach among fans. Fanatics is already a major player in the sports merchandise industry, and this partnership is expected to bring their expertise and innovation to the ice.

A new on-ice uniform partner across the NHL starting 2024-25.

Fans reacted wildly to the news, with many expressing their enthusiasm for the new partnership and the potential for exciting new uniform designs and merchandise offerings. But most expressed their dissatisfaction with the tie-up that they believe will tarnish ice hockey's legacy and also shared their love for their favorite team's current uniforms.

i’ve gotten shirts and hoodies from fanatics and had the logo crack off in one wash cycle.

the quality is not worth the price. this is a bad decision by the NHL 🥲

NHL succeeding in uniting the fanbase with this Fanatics announcement. Even the LGBTQ community is just like, "It's cool, no more pride jerseys."

@PrimetimeSamWoo @Fanatics @NHL Literally the worst, way to go.
