25 WWE Superstars who will never wrestle in AEW 

All Elite Wrestling has been making all the right noises. Their debut PPV Double or Nothing was a huge success. The show was well received, especially with the Cody vs Dustin Rhodes match going down as one for the ages. While they have two PPVs coming up, their next 'big event' PPV, AEW All Out, sold out in 15 minutes.

Moreover, there are persistent rumors that several WWE Superstars want to jump over to the upstart company once their contracts are up. AEW's signing of Jon Moxley also has created waves across the professional wrestling industry. Everywhere he goes, Jon Moxley has been driving interest amongst wrestling fans. So, it's safe that more exposure for Jon Moxley means more exposure for AEW.

There have been several articles about which WWE Superstars will jump to AEW roster and this might be true. On the other hand, there are several WWE stars who will probably stay put where they are. There could be several reasons for this including job security, big money contracts and just being happy with their current position.

This list includes those who have re-signed with WWE, are some of the top level guys and are assumingly on good terms with WWE Management. With AEW's Second event AEW Fyter Fest coming near lets have a look at few of such WWE superstars. So here are 25 WWE Superstars who will never wrestle in AEW.

#25 and #24 Mike Kanellis and Maria Kanellis

It's true! Mike Kanellis (Bennett) and Maria Kanellis have officially re-signed with the company. Their deal is rumored to be a 5-year contract which would expire in 2024. When they both debuted in the WWE in 2017, their run was mired by several obstacles. Mike Kanellis missed out on time inside the ring due to a stint in rehab. At the same time, Maria Kanellis was pregnant with their first child.

Six months ago, they had apparently asked for their release but everything seems to have worked out. WWE is quite sure that they don't want any of their superstars to go to the competition. Mike and Maria are going to be featured heavily on 205 Live and that might be the best place for them. True love, indeed!

#23 Zack Ryder

Zack Ryder's career in the WWE has been interesting. He has been a former WWE United States Champion, WWE IC Champion as well as a 2-time WWE Tag Team Champion with Curt Hawkins. But he's never reached the high of 2011-2012 when he got himself over with his YouTube series. While he is one person who could go to AEW, it's highly doubtful for someone who has been with WWE for 13 years.

#22 Velveteen Dream

Velveteen Dream is probably the most popular WWE Superstar in NXT. And he could be one of the biggest main-event stars in the future, once he is moved to the main roster. Moreover, he has taken shots at AEW and said that WWE Superstars are the reason for the poor quality of the product rather than Vince McMahon. It's highly doubtful that The Dream will ever work for anyone else but WWE.

#21 Samoa Joe

Samoa Joe. The Samoan Submission Machine. The former Impact Wrestling star and current WWE US Champion is easily one of the best heels in WWE. His feud with AJ Styles was better than anything else on the roster and he showed his range and wrestling ability.

But at age 40, it's highly unlikely Samoa Joe will ever sign with AEW. It's also should be taken into account after years of honing his craft at ROH, TNA/Impact Wrestling and the indies, Samoa Joe has done it all and may want to finish his career at WWE.

#20 Brock Lesnar

With his UFC career seemingly finished, Brock Lesnar will probably finish his career at WWE. It doesn't make sense to go to another promotion when he knows that Vince McMahon will pay anything to keep him on the WWE Roster. He will always be in the main-event scene and with his recent win at WWE Money in the Bank, he's probably going to be around for a long time.

#19 Jinder Mahal

The Maharaja. The Man who would be WWE Champion. The third man of 3MB. Jinder Mahal will go down in history as the man who went from jobber to WWE Champion overnight to please a certain section of the audience. While Jinder Mahal has always performed to the best of his abilities, it's highly debatable whether he would go to AEW or whether All Elite Wrestling would ever sign him. At the moment, he is been feuding with R-Truth on aeroplanes and golf courses for the WWE 24/7 Championship.

#18 Bayley

While Sasha Banks' WWE status is unknown, Bayley is probably going to be with the WWE in the years to come. The newly crowned WWE SmackDown Women's Champion looks to be enjoying her role at the top of the mountain and doesn't look she'll be leaving the company that made her, any time soon.

#17 The Miz

It's interesting to know that The Miz has been with WWE for 15 years. He's barely wrestled anywhere else. The former reality star did the impossible and has become perhaps one of the best WWE Superstars in the modern era. He's dependable and it's not far fetched to say he's a company man. It would be shocking if he ever signed with AEW. The Miz is WWE-bred and will most likely finish his career with them.

#16 John Cena

John Cena has been the face of WWE for more than a decade. He's been a multiple-time WWE Champion and is now embarking on a career in Hollywood. While he may show sporadically in the company, he will never ever wrestle for another promotion. It would be unthinkable, to say the least. John Cena still has one more WWE run left in him and it will probably be the last of his wrestling career.

#15 and #14 The Usos

The Usos are probably one of the greatest tag teams in WWE right now. They have been multiple-time WWE Tag Team Champions and it goes without saying that they're over with the WWE Universe. It's also confirmed that The Usos re-signed with WWE for a hefty pay raise over 5 years. While it would be a dream match to see them take on The Young Bucks in AEW, it's probably never going to happen.

#13 R-Truth

R-Truth has been one of the mainstays in the PG era of WWE. It's interesting to note that R-Truth made his WWE debut back in 2000 as K-Kwik. He then left for TNA in 2002 and made a name for himself. This led him back to the WWE in 2008 and has been with them ever since.

Considering that he's enjoying his run as the WWE 24/7 Champion and at age 47, it's most likely that his career will be coming to an end sooner than later.

#12, #11, and #10 The New Day (Big E, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston)

What's left to say about The New Day. They're probably one of the greatest tag teams in WWE history. They have been multiple time WWE Tag Team Champions and Kofi Kingston winning the WWE Championship at WrestleMania 35 was the icing on the cake. Could they fit into an AEW roster? The answer is probably no as The New Day is an act that can only work in the WWE.

Curt Hawkins

Curt Hawkins -- The man with the losing streak. He recently reunited with Zack Ryder and became 2-time WWE Tag Team Champions. But what else is left for him? He's never been used properly by the WWE and his success pales in comparison to Zack Ryder. At the same time, Curt Hawkins has enjoyed the most success of his wrestling career in WWE.

It's most likely that he will never want to go to AEW.

#8 Charlotte Flair

Charlotte Flair is wrestling royalty. Her father is a WWE Legend and she's slowly turning into one herself. Charlotte is probably one of the best female WWE superstars in the company and is fantastic in the ring. She has spent her entire wrestling career within WWE and is one of their top stars. It's highly unlikely she would ever want to wrestle in AEW, which needs more female talent as they grow.

#7 Daniel Bryan

Daniel Bryan. The American Dragon. The leader of the Yes movement. The man who had one of the best comebacks in wrestling history, after recovering from a career-ending injury. Daniel Bryan has done it all and his recent heel run as WWE Champion was fantastic in its conception.

While Daniel Bryan would certainly make a great addition to AEW, it's highly unlikely that it would happen. His WWE contract is reported to last until 2021. At this point, we can only dream.

#6 Drew McIntyre

It's astonishing to note that Drew McIntyre has not become WWE Champion or WWE Universal Champion. It's more astounding that Jinder Mahal was WWE Champion before McIntyre. The most physically talented member of 3MB, Drew McIntyre has clawed his way back to WWE after spending time on the Indies. While he would make a great addition to AEW as they lack 'Big Men' on their roster, it's highly unlikely it will happen in the near future.

#5 Braun Strowman

Braun Strowman. The Monster Among Men. Strowman has enjoyed amazing success in WWE. While WWE has mismanaged his WWE run so far, there is no doubt in the WWE Universe that he is over with the WWE fans. At the same time, it's hard to see him in AEW or whether they would fit him on their growing roster.

Braun Strowman seems content with his place in WWE right now and it's doubtful that will change any time soon.

#4 Becky Lynch

While she may be an accidental main-event star, Becky Lynch is probably the most popular WWE Superstar in WWE right now. Her gimmick as a female version of Stone Cold Steve Austin has won over fans and there's a good reason why she main-evented WrestleMania 35 alongside Charlotte Flair and Ronda Rousey.

If AEW were to sign her, it would be a paradigm shift. But it would take a perfect storm of things to fall in place before that happened.

#3 Seth Rollins

Seth Rollins is one of the biggest WWE Superstars in WWE. He has been a mainstay in the company for the last 8 years or so. Seth Rollins cut his teeth and learned his craft on the indies, working in places like Ring of Honor. Would he ever follow Jon Moxley to AEW? The answer is probably no.

Sure, the WWE Universe would love to see a dream match with Kenny Omega but it's not going to happen. Seth Rollins is going to be in WWE for the long run.

#2 AJ Styles

AJ Styles will finish his career in the WWE. As reported, he recently re-signed with WWE and said that this will be the last contract he ever will sign. The man who was the heart and soul of TNA/Impact Wrestling and re-created himself in NJPW has probably seen enough travelling across the world. AEW is not in his future.

#1 Roman Reigns

Roman Reigns. The Big Dog. The Chosen One. Roman Reigns already has a storied WWE career. His comeback from cancer was heart-warming and inspirational. Vince McMahon saw potential in him and he was not wrong. He is over with a section of the WWE audience and there's no doubting that.

While his star power is undeniable, would he work in AEW? Would AEW want to sign him? It doesn't feel like a fit. The WWE Universe has nothing to worry about as WWE will continue to push him no matter what.
