Kurt Angle has been in the wrestling business for over two decades now. Throughout this period, he has put his body through a ton of punishment. And hopefully, he doesn’t plan on going too long now.

In the post recently shared by Kurt Angle on his social media handle, he has teased his retirement.

The last time we saw Angle wrestling inside a WWE ring was at TLC PPV where he took on Baron Corbin along with a few other superstars to aid Braun Strowman and then face the Lone Wolf in a match on RAW the following night.

Also, Angle was supposed to return to the WWE TV by now, but because of the announcement of new-era made by Vince McMahon, those plans are possibly scrapped now.

As of now, we don’t when and how will Kurt Angle return. And even though the Olympic Gold medalist has teased his retirement, but it doesn’t take away the fact, Kurt Angle will wrestle his last match before he gets out of the wrestling business. And his recent match with Drew McIntyre on RAW probably wasn’t the one.

#5 Hope Not- There will be only one set of women's tag team titles for both brands

Women’s Tag Team Titles are finally coming to WWE.

The introduction of women’s tag team titles was in rumors for a long time and finally on Christmas Eve, Mr. McMahon revealed that WWE’s women division will continue to break down the barriers in 2019, as women’s tag team titles will be introduced.

However, while making this announcement, Mr. McMahon didn’t make clear as of how many sets of title will be introduced.

However, Bryan Alvarez has shed a little more light on this. Appearing on a recent edition of Wrestling Observer Live Alvarez told that WWE has ordered only one set of Women’s Tag Team titles so one of two brands will get the title, or the titles will be defended on both brands.

As of right now, I can’t say much, but I think WWE may have decided to go on with a single set of titles after seeing how there aren’t enough women's tag teams on both brands.

So, maybe after introducing more women tag teams on the main roster, WWE might add one more set of titles letting each brand have their own collection of titles.

#4 Hope True- Mandy Rose to receive a huge push

Mandy Rose to be on the receiving end of a massive push as this push could lead her to become a major superstar in the company
Ad

Coming from a non-wrestling background, it is never easy for someone to leave their imprints and become a star like Mandy Rose is today. And ever since she got drafted to SmackDown Live, along with her partner Sonya Deville, she never failed to impress the WWE officials.

In fact, Mandy Rose could be in the line for a huge push soon. Yes, according to a rumor, Vince McMahon seems to be impressed by ‘The Golden Goddess,’ and he has big plans for her soon.

Therefore, in the coming weeks, expect Mandy Rose to be on the receiving end of a massive push as this push could lead her to become a major superstar in the company, which people have only thought of.

#3 Hope Not- Ronda Rousey vs Becky Lynch not guaranteed for WrestleMania 35

Due to WWE's trend of changing plans, we might not see any of the two matches happening
Ad

Becky Lynch was supposed to take on Ronda Rousey this past year at WWE Survivor Series PPV. But, thanks to the punch thrown by self-proclaimed “Facebraker” Nia Jax, Charlotte Flair took The Man’s spot.

This change of plans left every fan speculating that this marquee match might happen at WrestleMania 35, possibly in the main event.

However, as per the Bryan Alvarez of Wrestling Observer Live, WWE has a plan for a triple threat match between Rousey, Charlotte, and Becky along with the idea of Rousey vs. Becky. But, because of WWE’s trend of changing plans, we might see none of these two matches happening.

However, a lot of officials inside the company wants to see this triple threat match happening at WrestleMania 35, rather than Becky vs. Rousey.

Also, as of right now, we can’t say which one of these two matches will take place at WM 35, but all we can say is that what might happen on WrestleMania 35 depends on what will go down at the Royal Rumble PPV this month.

#2 Hope True- Braun Strowman to win the WWE Universal Championship

Make no mistake but Strowman's chances to win the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble PPV are higher, more than ever
Ad

Braun Strowman has faced Brock Lesnar on multiple occasions, two of the match were one-on-one. And now for the third time, Strowman will face Lesnar at Royal Rumble PPV in a singles match for the Universal Championship.

Also, until now Lesnar was rumored to stick with WWE even after WrestleMania 35.

So, this rumor has led many people believing that Lesnar will cling on to his title at the upcoming Royal Rumble PPV. But, according to Mike Johnson of PWInsider Elite Audio, Brock Lesnar might be out of WWE even before WrestleMania 35 comes around.

And because of this sudden departure of Lesnar from WWE, Strowman is now expected to win the Universal Championship because, if Lesnar has plans to quit WWE before WrestleMania 35 then he has to drop the title to someone.

And Strowman seems to be the only one who can dethrone Lesnar and take away the championship. So, make no mistake, but Strowman’s chances to win the Universal Championship at Royal Rumble PPV are higher, more than ever.

#1 Hope Not- Ronda Rousey to leave WWE soon

WWE better be smarter to make her main event WrestleMania 35 alongside Charlotte and/or Becky as it's a once in a lifetime match
Ad

Ronda Rousey is the current WWE Raw Women’s Champion and rumored to appear on the main event of this year’s WrestleMania alongside Charlotte Flair and/or Becky Lynch. Although Ronda Rousey has been in WWE for twelve months only yet, rumors are there of Ronda leaving the company.

Yes, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter (h/t Ringside News), Rousey is expected to leave WWE soon. Therefore, WWE wants her on the main event of this year’s WrestleMania alongside Charlotte and/or Becky, as they don’t know if she will be around for WrestleMania 36.

This could explain why WWE scrapped Ronda Rousey vs Natalya matchup for WrestleMania 35.

As of right now, we don’t know whether Ronda Rousey will be around for WM 36, but all we can say is that if she’s planning to leave WWE soon than WWE better be smart and make her appear on the main event of WrestleMania 35 alongside Charlotte and/or Becky as it’ll a once in a lifetime match.
