3 interesting things which could happen on the upcoming episode of Raw (1 July 2019)

The last episode of WWE's flagship show, Monday Night Raw, after Stomping Grounds was a power packed show. While the opening segment featuring Seth Rollins, Becky Lynch, Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans was impressive, AJ Styles picking up a non-title win against Ricochet in the main event of the show was another major development of the show.

However, The Deadman returning to help Roman Reigns even the odds against Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre resulting in WWE booking a classic tag team matchup for Extreme Rules was easily the highlight of the show. Furthermore, the tag team elimination match between The Usos, New Day, The Revival and Rowan & Daniel Bryan was also another classic matchup on what was an impressive episode of Raw this week.

Given the increasing competition, WWE needs to continue with their good work when Raw comes live next week from Dallas, Texas, USA. While WWE officially announced two blockbuster matchups last week, expect them to continue building and hyping up the event for July 14.

While the match delivered on all fronts as the duo put up an impeccable performance inside the ring, not everyone had foreseen the outcome of the match.

Yes, AJ Styles went on to pick up a clean victory against Ricochet and thus, he is expected to get a title shot against Ricochet in the near future.

Thus, expect WWE to book another classic matchup between Ricochet and Styles for the US title at Extreme Rules on the upcoming episode of Raw.

#2 WWE officially announces Braun Strowman vs Bobby Lashley in a Sumo Contest matchup for Extreme Rules

It would be a fascinating battle

Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley clashed with each other in a Tug of war contest this week on Raw. While the Monster among Men picked up an easy win after an early hiccup, Lashley went on to attack and sent Strowman through a barricade, standing tall to end the segment.

Also, one should not forget that the duo faced each other in an arm wrestling match in the buildup of their one-on-one match at Super Showdown. While Braun picked up a win at both the instances, their rivalry is not over yet.

Given Extreme Rules is all about stipulations, WWE could go on to officially announce Strowman vs Lashley in a Sumo Contest at Extreme Rules. This would not only grab a few eyeballs but would definitely spice up their feud.

#1 The Undertaker issues a warning to Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre

The Undertaker could feature on the upcoming episode of Raw.

Roman Reigns faced Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre in a 2-on-1 handicap match on the last episode of Raw. As expected, the heel duo soon ganged up on Reigns. However, much to the enjoyment of the WWE fans, The Undertaker returned to even the odds.

Yes, The Deadman took out both Shane McMahon and McIntyre singlehandedly. Moments later, WWE officially went on to confirm that The Deadman will be teaming up with Roman Reigns against The Scottish Psychopath and the former SmackDown Commissioner run a tag team matchup at Extreme Rules.

Thus, the upcoming episode of Raw could feature The Phenom explaining his actions last week. He could further go on to issue a spine chilling warning to the heel duo for their match at Extreme Rules.

On another note, given the decrease in ratings and viewership, plus the increasing competition, WWE made a smart move and brought back the Undertaker, and to be honest, things have turned interesting on the red brand.
