3 major unanswered questions for tonight's Raw (March 5th)

As the road to WrestleMania accelerates with a month left to go, there are still major unanswered questions that tonight's show could bring some clarity to. Some big names are directionless while others have a set path but still not an obvious destination.

It's time to start answering these questions with 5 Raws left before WWE WrestleMania 34.

#1 Where is Braun Strowman headed?

Where is the Monster Among Men going?

Perhaps the biggest unanswered question on the red brand is what Braun Strowman's plans are for WrestleMania, following his loss at Elimination Chamber. A Universal title match, which is what many fans wanted to see, is now off the table.

Are his run-ins with Elias a set feud, or is this min-feud a set up to get him into the Intercontinental Championship match? Or is his path something else entirely? Hopefully, we'll get some answers tonight.

#2 What will Asuka do?

Asuka takes on Nia Jax again.

Asuka is set to have another match with Nia Jax tonight. It should be revealing of what Asuka ultimately decides to do for WrestleMania. Will she be in the Raw Women's Championship match or jump brands to challenge Charlotte?

This match should answer some questions about Asuka's WrestleMania feud. Is it a stepping stone to continuing a slow-burning feud with Alexa Bliss (in this case, through the use of her shield in Nia Jax) or will a decisive victory make a challenge to the SmackDown Women's Champion likelier?

Asuka would currently look weak like she's dodging Nia and Alexa if she challenges Charlotte. A decisive win would regain her strength quickly and make a brand switch likelier.

#1 What is the fate of the tag team division?

The Bar has no challengers.

By far, the biggest hole on the red brand is its tag team division. It's currently the one area where SmackDown is stronger.

With their filler feud with Titus Worldwide appearing to be over, there are no challengers, obvious or otherwise, for Cesaro and Sheamus at WrestleMania 34. Too much was ultimately invested in The Bar's feud with Seth Rollins and (insert partner here) from the summer to February, and as a result, all the other teams on the red brand are notably weaker.

Titus Worldwide appears to be thoroughly out of contention. They never felt like a real threat to the champs anyway.

The Revival and Gallows and Anderson, meanwhile, have gone 50/50 with each other over the last month, and as a result, neither have emerged as a superior, #1 contender-worthy tag team.

All this suggests that a multi-team match at WrestleMania, probably of the ladder variety is in the cards. This isn't set in stone, though.

Will we begin to see some teams fight with each other to emerge as a clear #1 contender or will the status quo continue? The red brand has five weeks to clear up its tag team picture. Hopefully, we'll begin to see some answers tonight.
