With SmackDown Live's epic deal with FOX scheduled to commence in October, the company's willingness to Roman Reigns on the blue brand felt predictable. The Big Dog showed up on the blue brand and punched Mr. McMahon in heroic fashion on his first night of the Superstar Shake-Up.

Considering that The Chairman of the Board was the victim of The Big Dog's Superman Punch, we all knew that a riveting feud was about to be ignited on the blue brand. However, the constant decline in ratings is becoming a huge problem for the WWE. Vince McMahon recently stated that talent absences have played an influential factor in declining viewership on the main roster.

Since Vinnie Mac has always been a Roman Reigns admirer, there's a genuine possibility that The Big Dog's feud with The McMahon's could be taking center-stage on the red brand.

Saudi Arabia's love for professional wrestling will see them hosting another blockbuster event in June with the likes of Goldberg and The Undertaker gracing the occasion. Although the event has divided wrestling fans on social media, Goldberg's return has ignited an element of anticipation among the entire wrestling community.

The Icon could be making his way back to the red brand and with the event now scheduled to happen in June, there's a genuine possibility that the creative team could be preparing a blockbuster clash between Goldberg and Roman Reigns. While I have always opposed the idea of seeing wrestlers coming out of retirement, a clash between Goldberg and The Big Dog definitely excites me.

Since the former Universal Champion has always enticed the idea of protecting his yard, will he be able to cope up with The Icon?

#3 The All Elite Wrestling factor amidst viewership decline

Will Roman help?

With legions in the wrestling community disappointed with how things are transpiring on the main roster, WWE's loss could end up being All Elite Wrestling's gain. The newly introduced wrestling promotion is all set to take the wrestling world by storm with their first pay-per-view - Double or Nothing.

Since the likes of Kenny Omega, Chris Jericho, The Young Bucks, and Cody Rhodes will enjoy some creative freedom on their promotion, an element of rejuvenation may be brought forth in the wrestling world. Considering that such a decline in interest could potentially prove beneficial for a promotion like AEW, a Roman Reigns return on the red brand seems idealistic for the creative team.

With Vince McMahon likely put all his eggs in a single basket in the case of Roman Reigns, what will this mean for the current superstars gracing Monday Night Raw on a weekly basis?
