The Extreme Rules pay-per-view has provided us with some thrilling moments in the past. Last year, Braun Strowman threw Kevin Owens off the top of the steel cage and onto an announce table. Jeff Hardy's matches with Edge and Matt Hardy in past events were absolutely amazing. Edge getting stuck between the rungs of a ladder was one of the most creative and awkward moments of the event.

At every Extreme Rules pay-per-view, fans are treated to hardcore match-ups that are reminiscent of the original ECW brand that was loved by fans all around the globe. It is very rare that we get to watch so many hardcore matches at a single pay-per-view. This year will be no different as WWE has scheduled a number of matches with hardcore stipulations.

Braun Strowman and Bobby Lashley will fight in a Last Man Standing match that is expected to be a brutal affair. Both Strowman and Lashley will be in their element, hence it is going to be a great match.

The Winners Take All Mixed tag-team match is going to be an Extreme Rules contest. We will witness Seth Rollins and Becky Lynch Vs Baron Corbin and Lacey Evans in an Extreme Rules match and this will make it a tremendous match-up. The Undertaker and Roman Reigns will take on the dastardly duo of Drew McIntyre and Shane McMahon in a No Holds Barred Match.

WWE may add hardcore stipulations to any of the announced matches at the last minute. Hence, Extreme Rules will be a night filled with extreme moments and fun spots.

#2 The build-up to the event has been incredible

WWE has done an excellent job in the prelude to Extreme Rules. All of the matches on the card have a story-line background and that is a good sign for what is in store for us at Extreme Rules.

AJ Styles' heel turn and alliance with Luke Gallows and Karl Anderson has spiced up his rivalry with Ricochet. WWE has built up Styles as a credible threat to Ricochet, but keep in mind that Ricochet has pinned all three members of the Club.

In the lead-up to Extreme Rules, WWE breathed life to stale rivalries. Braun Strowman's rivalry with Bobby Lashley is the perfect example of this. A few weeks ago, no one cared about the feud and the two kept locking horns in meaningless matches.

However, that changed during the end of their Falls Count Anywhere Match on Raw two weeks ago. Strowman drove Lashley through the LED board that drove the crowd into a frenzy and the match was ruled a no contest. This increased fan interest in their rivalry.

The Undertaker's return and involvement in Shane McMahon's rivalry with Roman Reigns has made the rivalry must-see.

There's no doubt that WWE has done a great job building up its hottest story-lines in the build-up to Extreme Rules.

#1 The Undertaker will be in action

The Phenom will be at Extreme Rules for the first time

How often is it that you see The Undertaker competing on a non-Saudi Arabian event or on a non-"Big Four" pay-per-view? It is extremely rare to witness The Undertaker compete on a "B-" pay-per-view. However, Extreme Rules will be an exception as The Phenom will be in action. It will also be the first time he is part of an Extreme Rules event.

Taker will be take part in one of the most high-profile match-ups at the event. He will team up with an unlikely partner in Roman Reigns to take on Shane McMahon and Drew McIntyre. The build-up to this event has hyped up this match and much of the hype is surrounding Taker's involvement at the event.

We all know just how big a star The Undertaker is. It is his presence that makes this event so special and must-see. This might just be the last time you get to see Taker compete at a ''B-" pay-per-view. Hence, you might not want to miss Extreme Rules , especially if you are a fan of The Undertaker.
